  Thanks for sharing New York and everybody, I was asked to pray at one of the last meetings I attended ,a book study,(that trash the Revelation book), I have believed all my life that prayers should be sincere,(and I tried never to use "The Script") and therefore this one was not easy.

  I can't remember the exact words,but it was along the lines of all who seek the truth may Almighty God help them to find it, I still pray for that today,for myself as much as anybody,but at least that last public prayer came from my heart, but was it heard?

  a terminally-ill girl has won the right to die after a hospital ended its bid to force her to have a heart operation.. herefordshire primary care trust dropped a high court case after a child protection officer said hannah jones was adamant she did not want surgery.

  The difference here is that this poor young lady has made this decision,for which she has my admiration and respect,based on knowing all the facts. Children of Jehovah's Witnesses are NOT given all the facts about the scriptural teaching on blood,(that abstaining is only a food issue,for example) and are not helped to reason for themselves on the twisted "fractions" doctrine,and so are not in a position to make a reasoned decision as this young lady did.

  Therefore it is right that such children,who have been "radicalised" by the Mullahs at the Kingdumb Hell are made Wards of Court and their lives saved,thus giving them a chance to learn the truth.

  Here in the U.K Jehovah's Witnesses are registered as SEVERAL charities,the GB headquarters at Mill Hill, London is one,and all congo's register as separate charity numbers,all Kingdom Halls are owned by a Trust,not by the Bros. who put money time and effort into building them!

  I think this status could be open to legal challenge but someone would need the time to research the charity law.If I had the time I would certainly peruse their accounts,with particular interest in monies moving from one charity to another.

  did jesus confirm his cabinet members of the 144,000?.

  This thread reminds me of a joke I heard, A guy dies and goes to heaven and St, Peter is showing him around,the guy notices several high-walled city like places,from which is coming some rather poor singing,"What are they?" he asks,and St.Peter replies "Oh inside each of those are 144,000 jehovah's witnesses,they think they are the only ones up here!"

  i thought long and hard before making this thread, that many will not agree with it but i think there needs to be balance and people to realise there are alternate viewpoints out there on many of these subjects, the ones that are most spoke about on this forum.

  i was recently sent a full message containing mary's book and these links give the rebuttal to many of her points.

  those that are still open-minded enough feel free to look over them even if in the end you still don't agree at least you have heard both the defence as well as the attack as they are on the internet.

  I left,after fifty-eight years,because the Governing Body blasphemously takes the place of our Lord Jesus and claims THEY are the mediator,they are "Gods Channel" etc. They also claim to directly get messages from the spirit realm (who are they listening to?)

  These are NOT nit-picking issues to me, I am fearfull of being associated with blasphemers,because God's judgement will come upon them "outside will be the liars" Rev.

  I suggested on another thread that we publicise the "Do not call" option so that many more of the public are aware of it, Oompa your idea could be extended by producing a sticker that house -holders could use.

  I think that the end of the stoopid H to H work could be speeded up by this method,as it would be the homeowners choice I could not see any legal problem,but obviously the stickers would be an expense to produce.

  The WT would find even fewer suckers to join.

  Someone in another thread made the great point (If my memory seves me well) that the habit of not uttering the divine name,out of respect, was established long before the birth of Christ,and so had he uttered it ,there would have been a riot,

  So the WT's claim that it would have been read aloud is spurious.

  Perhaps one of the scholars on here can spread more light on this.

  i knew i could only pawn off on people about 30 or 40 copies a month.

  Another slow way to undermine the WT financialy is to publicise the "Do not call" list,most of the public are not aware of this,and if they were many would go on it and less would fall for the Bulls**t and become paying members.Maybe a letter about unwanted callers at the door,mentioning the do not call list ,to the local paper would start the ball rolling.

  Just an idea.

  my lurking jw friend sent me a copy of this new dec.15th rubbish on " holding fast to your integrity " - and i don't know if it's the fact i've been out of the witnesses 5 years or not - but the ludricousness of this information seems to be increasing to me.

  once again the watchtower society makes big issues of miniscule , small time actions raising the fire alarm , but gloss over more serious sins like murder , for instance .

  for example , check this tidbit out from paragraph 10 - " we know that god's word forbids fornication.

  "When adjustments are made in explanation of Bible texts or in how things are done,we want to accept them" = the Gibbering buddy wants us to blindly accept them.

  "If we find it hard to understand a change,we ask Jehovah to help us to comprehend a point" = you thick rank and file just swallow the bullshit,if you must pray about it then just leave it alone after you've prayed,it's obviously YOUR fault you can't swallow it.

  It always angered me this way of talking down to us,it wasn't that we couldn't comprehend a point,it was that we could see it was unscriptural,total BULLS**T !

  I did pray about a lot of things,I prayed to be led to the truth,and then I found JWD! I just thought it was because I had decided to reswearch on the Net,but perhaps my prayer was answered ! I certainly found out the truth about the "Troof"

  Why is it mainly women who seem to get off on this pagan stuff?
