  i just don't think the god of the bible is our actual god.

  and i think the god of the bible is not very bright.. i was thinking about the flood the other day.

  I dont think I've ever met a bigger group of gutter sniping, malicious good for nothing gossips than one will ever meet in any environment outside the jw's, they thrive on it.

  during our wt life we met a good number of friends involved in the circuit and district work.

  i am sure that we share the same experience and that we remember fondly some that we caring, loving and generally interested in the brothers.

  at the same time we might remember others that were arrogant, selfish, abusive and oppressive.

  it probably will never happen but... imagine the gb recieved some new light that told them the great tribulation was imminent.

  the world is going to hell and all jws can expect until armageddon is terrible persecution the likes of which no christian has ever experienced in two thousand years.

  but jehovah has a solution: put yourself and your family 'to sleep' and after armageddon's over, jehovah will 'wake his people up' at the resurrection.

  the suggestion wouldn't surprise me at all, would the millions of R&F do it? no they wouldn't especially in the wealthy developed first world, firstly deep down a vast percentage of them are extremely secretly materialistic, many enjoy comfortable lifestyles, have nice houses, nice cars,good careers, have nice holidays,have kids in collage, mortgages etc, would they throw those trappings away to drink the Kool Aid? not in a million years, we would would see schisms and offshoots of the WTS formed almost immediately, plus the authorities would not want another WACO siege on their hands, the HQ and their other important properties would be seized, we know how the anonymous decision makers behind the curtain view the value of their assets,how many times do we hear that being a jw is just like a membership of a "country club?"

  in this article gerrit talks about his father in the first and last paragraphs, what he says about him and his hope for him goes against all that witnesses have preached about the worldly for the last 100 years... as i recall aren't all the worldly supposed to be destroyed and never have a hope of everlasting life like jw's are, and isn't that the purpose of the preaching work to baptize and warn the worldly of this???

  if not why do jws even preach, or even become jws in the first place if all have a hope of everlasting life, jw and non-jw, are they releasing a little hint at new light to come???

  or am i just missing or over analyzing something?.

  friday 16, december 2016. abc news: malcolm lee, 56, has been sentenced to three years, nine months jail for the attack on the woman, 80, at her home near lakes entrance in march.

  during a home massage, organised as a gift by the victim's daughter, lee touched, kissed and digitally raped the woman.

  he claimed he believed at the time it was consensual and she was enjoying it.

  Im Going To Approach A Witnessing Cart Today

  good work PE, thats the general tone I try to use when I speak with them, the cart in my local town centre isnt out much at all these days, not that they will speak to me other than just basic pleasantries

  aren't there christian denominations who do not make false end of the world predictions but who nevertheless believe that the world will eventually end and paradise (whether in heaven or on earth) will come?.

  it seems the watchtower was just jumping the gun when they made false end of the world predictions but they are nevertheless the right: the world will eventually end and paradise will come..

  i am presently considering three different routes to publishing crisis of conscience.

  i hope to make a decision within days and plan to publish within weeks.. it has now been 50 weeks since that statement.. has the book been published yet?

  I think something like this could be in the pipeline, how long can they keep the charade up? they are haemorrhaging members, every single so called prophecy they've predicted has failed, how long can they flog their dead horse? Those bunker vids, the resurrection on the beach seem a long way away now
