you can just see it digital media and internet coverage when the end comes is sparse or non existent and the WT will be transporting thousands of tonnage of huge paper reams delivered by articulated trucks to Chelmsford so the masses can have their WT/Awakes/books in printed form again, all the while doing this in subterfuge and secrecy so as to not alert the authorities! seems logical.

Mill Hill - Chelmsford, reduced capacity, any news on Chelmsford plan revision
by Lostandfound inchelmsford looks to have much less work than in mill hill complex, if gb spirit guided why did they allow massive plans for new site when such significant changes must have been in discussion, planning , or contemplation.
knee jerk reaction to things looks to indicate someone or more on gb has instituted changes almost overnight.
my dog plans his day better, get up, walk, sleep, eat, walk some more, eat some more, and sleep again.

we used to have a study turn up called Steve, an old hippy clearly taken far too much LSD over the years, didn't have a close relationship with soap and water either, apparently he turned up to the book study in the KH and took his shoes and socks off.

13 year anniversary
by gerry intoday marks 13 years since my wife and i have stepped inside a kingdom hall.
after 29 years full on being a jw and a number of years serving as an elder then as the presiding overseer we pulled the plug.
yes 13 years ago coming home from the first day of a circuit assembly i said to my wife “that’s it i am not going back”.

Witness Carts - A Vehicle for Significant Decline
by slimboyfat ini was stalking to a jw today about her recent experience on the carts and with being a jw generally.
until this conversation i considered the carts as just an ineffective preaching method and a harmless waste of time.
but now i wonder if the effect of the carts might be to produce noticeable decline in jw numbers.

my recent monitoring of their cart activity definitely seems to show some slowing down in their cart presence in the areas that I frequent, in these last couple of weeks the cart has been out far less in my local town, I'd see it every day from about 9 onwards and it seemed that way for as long as I can remember, I've not seen it much at all in recent weeks, I've just popped out and its not there today, in the adjoining town with a far bigger shopping area and high street I've not seen it at all in recent months, the last time I saw it about a year ago I was able to speak to the young guy manning it, I mentioned the ARC, he told me his group are from a local Portuguese congregation, on my way to work I pass two very busy Tube stations and would regularly see the carts on a weekly occurrence, nothing there at all now for some months, maybe the apathy is really hitting the R&F. -

Update on My Journey: 8 Years After the End of Watchtower Control
by passwordprotected ini last updated you guys almost 2 years ago here.. i thought i'd post an update.. the peace i discovered having decided to let the angst, worry and fear over what to believe is as strong as ever, although i am keeping more abreast of what jw.org (formerly known as wtbts) is up to, and i never cease to be shocked and surprised.. as my last post mentioned, i split from the jw girl i married in 1993 and both of us have moved on with new partners that better fit who we are as grown adults, rather than the children we were 23 years ago.. my partner has no religious background whatsoever, although her children are being raised as catholics by their father.
hearing her kids openly doubt, question and even ridicule the religion is heartwarming and exactly the way it should be.. as for my children, they continue to be a never-ending stream of joy and pride.. my oldest son is now 16, having been only 8 years old when we left the watchtower.
he had big anxiety problems for a while afterwards, worrying about armageddon etc.

In the paradise JWs will have a standard uniform
by RodrigoGuerreiro inanyone else notice this on the last video of the regional convention 2016?.
frame stills:.
conclusion: it seems that the paradise will not be only the end of wickedness but also the end of the jws typical cheap polyester suits :-p.

at first I thought they were endorsed by GAP, then the collarless look definitely makes it look on the weird side, shades of The Time Machine, only things that is missing are the pudding basin hairstyles, its weird, mad and macabre, clearly a religion in the process of "losing it" next I see a WACO style siege.

How Long Does This Religion Have Left?
by pale.emperor inthe generation that will be no means pass away have passed away.. the 144,000 were sealed up in 1935, oh, no wait, we got that wrong, we still have some.. russel is the faithful and wise servant... oh, no he wasn't it was me, rutherford... no, actually, we got that wrong it's knorr... erm, no we mean the governing body.. shunning is pagan, true christians would never do that (1946)... oh, actually, we should do that too.. the revelation book has been re-written.. the un is the satan's visible organisation.. wtbs signs up for fellowship with the un in 1991.. exposed in the guardian newspaper so ends it's fellowship in 2001.. the greatest man book is now obsolete and replaced with another jesus book.. the mags are reduced in pages.. encouraged to use tablets instead of actual books to save paper (money).
halls being sold off.. congregations sharing halls.. society owned buildings being sold off.. video pertitioning for money only last year to fund a new building.. bethelites reduced.. missionaries sent back home.. young members leaving.. long time members discovering the history and leaving.. how long do you think this religion has left?
i cant see it being here in another 100 years.

who'd have thought even 20 years ago an entity such as the interweb would have been so damaging to them, first they condemned it then they embraced it! their embracing it has only meant one thing more haemorrhaging of the membership base, its not only them that are feeling the mass turning away from contemporary religious groups they are all suffering and long may it continue,20/30 years down the line I doubt we will be even noticing them, an irrelevant pointless rather sad pathetic group.

the so called "tried and tested" reason that the D2D was pushed for so ling because it kept the R&F busy is another myth as well, cracks had been appearing in this for decades, after the millennium of the 20th century came to an end I think it sealed its fate, how many times have we worked with anyone form ordinary publishers to hard nosed pioneers and called the entire thing off after a couple or even less hours because we were bored/hungry and thought it was simply a waste of our time.My own data of living away from the territory of my home town for over 20 years show that from 1995-2002 I was called on once by them yet more times by the Mormons who I requested they stop, from 2002- 2007 not one single attempt, from 2007-2012 nothing , from 2012 till now nothing so in over half a dozen different addresses in over 20 years I've been contacted once, a rather feeble attempt? not even a leaflet or tract has ever been dropped awaiting me as I entered, and I've resided in suburban, densely populated residential areas close to Greater London throughout all this time and still do, they are shrivelling up to absolutely nothing, wait for the carts to slowly disappear , they will.
