  X-Witnesses and Faders - have you had a help them return visit yet?

  with the watchtower study about helping 'lost sheep' return, i have been half expecting a visit.

  i have mentally rehearsed how i should handle the situation, which is fairly tricky as i still have family in.

  but no call yet.

  I had a visit from a sister. I was'nt home so she left a note. So I called her and the conversation was very strained. We used to be best friends but it is so different now. There was nothing said about the meetings or why I was'nt going,that seemed kinda strange. She had'nt been to my house in over a year so I guess she was asked to pay me a visit. I'm just wondering if she was relieved to find me not at home.

  a las vegas toddler was pulled from the jaws of an 18-foot-long, 300 lb snake.. "that was the only thing i was thinking was i need to try and save this kid's life," neighbor marlo vinson said.

  I HATE snakes to begin with so I can't understand why anyone would want one. But with young children around, well that's just plain stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!

  I love eggs, not to runny though, crispy bacon, hot biscuits, strawberry jam, and lots of strong coffee. If there's room left 2 pancakes with maple syrup!!!

  If I'm in a hurry there Eggo's new toaster strudels in strawberry or cinnamon that are very good. But I always start my day with coffee.

  Something important from the RBC

  i was around a group of jw's last night, and one mentioned how at their recent kh remodel, done by the rbc, they eliminated their ceiling fans.

  the rbc said that the fans were operating at a certain frequency that made it hard to concentrate.

  they were not sure what the frequency that was referred to was, electrical or the fan blades.

  The fans always made me freeze half to death. Sometimes they ran them even in winter. BRRR!!!!!

  Showing Kindness to Strangers.

  you know sometimes in life one get's the urge to do something nice and unexpected for a stranger.. i just received a prayer request from a christian friend of mine.

  her collegues daughter was recently in a car accident and has been paralysed from the waist down.

  this has caused quite a strain in the family dynamic and many seem to say this pain is the daughters' fault (which to me is sick - she didn't go and do it purposefully) anyway so my friend asked that we pray for the collegue and the collegues daughter.. which is great an' all.....but i spurred on by something thought it would be great to show kindness as asked those on the list to donate a small amount so that we could go and buy a huge ass bunch of flowers and send them to her - bring something beautiful and bright into her life.

  LouBelle, even if your friends don't join in with you, go ahead if you can afford it and send flowers. It will make you as happy if not happier than the family that recieves them. I think it's a very kind and generous thing to do!

  America - What is your weather like in August & September

  asking because this is the time i'm looking at travelling to the states - but only in 2010. reason i'm leaving it till then is because i have a wedding in the united kingdom in august of that year, so it will be easier for me to pop over from there ... and cheaper.. so it's a definate that i'll be hooking up with some of you britons and followed by the americans.

  time to start saving every little penny, get the passport sorted, the visa for the us of a (they interogate you), start plotting the journey.. .

  Do You Think Minorities Will Be Treated Better Due To Obama's Presence?

  Actually, minorities in the last few years have had better health care due to the government programs, better chances of getting jobs etc. than the whites. So I don't see how Obama can help unless he completely cuts the white persons chance at anything at all.
