  i was given the french version from 1974. ive never noticed it before but it does say "was God" for John 1:1 in this one too.

  I wish they would completely get rid of 607 bc and 1914, 1918 dates, highly unlikely as the majority of their supposed authority hinges on those false dates. Also i would love for them to tone down Jehovahs Great Day of Wrath, armegaeden is right around the corner rethoric, as all of the armegeadon talk makes me depressed. I hate being depressed but it seems that it is an epidemic in most of the Kingdom Halls Ive been in. For a time I took pills in order to keep me afloat. So I try to avoid WT`s or BS`s that deal heavily with Gods Wrath and Anger. I much prefer topics of love and compassion - as it is the main idea throughout the Bible.

  I love the fact that I dont celebrate christmas, birthdays, holidays, most holidays now have been so commercialized so that it keeps us buying stuff we dont need in order to keep the economy going.

  why is it that people get so excited over such bad news, enough to repost stories over the internet. What happened to the good news.

  If I need to be reminded to hug my children there is something wrong with me.

  What is the most hours you ever turned in on your F.S. report?

  i once turned in 39 hours helping another to reach their pioneer goal.

  fairly accurate reporting of the hours as well.

  23 honest hours. Yeah I know, its nothing compared to the over hundred crowd, but I do it only according to my needs, not the other way around. Lately though I havent put in a FS Report, only once in the last 5 months and i think it was for 4 hours.

  i actually like vista, i think its a little better then XP, but then again i have 4 gigs of ram on my laptop, along with Intel Centrino technology. If i had anything less it would be extremely slow. Thats the problem, everyone says Vista sucks, not true - one of the best Operating Systems they have come up with, you just need at least 2 gigs of ram to run it properly.

  Apple computers are a whole other ball of wax, they have all kinds of problems, only the problems arent as advertised as MS because hardly anyone has their computers. One of the biggest problems they have with their operating systems is that many programs do not work properly or at all.

  1. the elder i was in a bissness with decided a hand shake was not a contract, and paid me $500 dollars instead of the $3,000 he should have....i felt so stupid, but quit with him and treated him like a disfellowshiped person since....also he would pay me half a days wage when i worked from 8am till 3pm ???????

  when told about this he said sorry but "couldn't work out how to re-emburse the lost hours.".

  2. my elderly mum sold some furniture when moving, to a sister who promised to pay from her single parent pension in small installments........nope!

  okay ......no get ready for this.....are you sitting down......good

  well........i went to an elders garage sale and got hooked into buying these plants, paid at least 10 bucks for 2 of them. and you guessed it, they died, within a week.

  about a week later, the elders wife says to me "ive got a confession to make"......she never returned my money. Typical.....im assuming they live in a such a large house by ripping people off. You kind of expect a higher standard, especially with fellow JWs. But they are just like you and me, completely fallible, making all kinds of mistakes.

  this dc used to be held at the pacific coliseum in vancouver b.c.for at least 20 years that i know of.. i think that 2003 was the last year that jws went to the pacific colisuem in vancouver b.c.

  where is the 100,000 JWs in the Greater Vancouver Area, if im not mistaken there is only 100,000 JWs in all of Canada.

  the WTS always has an agenda for the things they do and say.
