  women - do you love being around men?

  i only ask because i realise that for over 20 years i just love being around women.

  it's not just for sexual reasons either, though that's important sometimes, i just really like being around women.

  no, I do not. I find that most men (not all) are too controling. I have not come across very many that truly respect women in every way shape and form. Men like to have it both ways. They want a nice family (as long as the wife does most of the child rearing) and they are either on the golf course or on thier bass boat. After all, after spending all that money for a boat they are going to bring home dinner. HAHa. Iam glad I found the exception to this in my husband. We have been married for nearly 28 years and we are truely best friends. We raised a family TOGETHER and love spending our free time with each other. I admire and respect him as a person and he does the same.

  i'm changing my lifestyle for the better.

  i've been a bit of a slacker when it comes to getting fit, but that all changed yesturday.

  i've also read some inspiring stuff - we've heard it before but it really is in our grasp.. take responsibility....sometimes the situation you find yourself in may or may not be your fault.

  i know we all have issues with the borg, but really i think there are far more despicable religions on the go, namely american style evangelical christianity.

  i'm watching a film called 'jesus camp' as i type and all i can say is any of you idiots who post on here who say you left the jw's and have now found jesus are totally retarded.

  you really need to get a grip on reality and stop needing religion as a crutch.

  Am i being too harsh with my girlfriend?

  ok heres the scenario.. i met this girl about 12 months ago, we dated for around 6 months then split up (another story).

  we have started seeing each other again for around 3 months now.. the problem is, if i can call it a problem, she has two kids, whereas i have three that i see on thursdays and saturdays.

  her ex has her kids every other saturday.

  Its time for a sit down heart to heart talk. It sounds like she wants something different from this relationship than you do. If she was truly committed she would bend over backwards to see you, even if it was at 5am for coffee. Think long and hard, it seems like it is time to move on.

They will know your weakness but they are not able to read your mind. Do not get involved in fortune telling, ouij board, very demonic. If you go to a yard sale be very careful. The demons may possess the object. It seems to me all they do is instill fear. Iam unsure about the occult, any insight?

  i have been coming here for some months y i must admit that i am still in.

  but i have serious doubts, i mean, i am 99.9% convinced, the jws are not the true religion, but i still live with my family, and they are jws, and i love them.

  my parents have a long time been jws, and it is very hard for me to tell them the truth.

  My daughter went through what you are going through 5 years ago. She had serious doubts but kept them to herself. She still lived at home and I know it was not easy for her since the rest of us were still JW's(me, her father and brother). Well, if you look at my bio and at some of my posts you will see that we are all out now too. In fact, we just celebrated my sons birthday 2 weeks ago for the first time. I look forward to the holidays too. I guess what Iam trying to say is you need to live your own life and not let anyone hold you back. Who knows maybe your parents will come around too.

  I understand where you are coming from but at least you have only been with the co for 2 years. My husband has been with his co for 25 years and missed getting his pension by 1 FRIGGIN MONTH. They changed the requirememtns and said you must be turning 50 by a certain date and he missed it by 1month grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. He is now treats it like a job and does not go beyond what is required of him.

  given the chance, if we made contact with an extraterrestial life form that came to dwell among us for even a short period of time, would you preach the gospel of jesus to it with a view to possibly baptizing the "alien" into christianity?
