he is in prison , but that is for his other victims , my childs charges were dropped because of various reasons , one of them being people in the "truth" keeping quiet about the truth , had they talked to the police the out come could have been so different . so legally i cant say nothing coz nothing has been prooved the police wernt too impressed with jehovahs truth tellers either !!!!!

by looloo inhad the elders reported the abuse of two other children to the police years ago then the perp would not have got around to abusing my child , they must change the policies on reporting to the police in all cases not just unrepentant paedophiles , any ideas on what he could say in the letter (he is not a dub) we have not had an apology either .

Need some advice
by KICKED OUT ini have not been on here in a long time but i have always valued the advice of everyone, so here goes.....i am dfd and my wife has never been a part of the org.
we are getting ready to have our first child in may.
my mother who is now living in patterson(at one of the motherships) speaks to me every 1 to 2 years.

you could agree to this , then get your wife to have a chat with your mum about the religion along the lines of oh i always thought that jws were such a caring and loving rligion untill i met your son and found out the truth about the truth and then go on to th history of the org and how can anyone really fall for that , i find it amazing , i would work better coming from a non dub (i think) good luck x

by looloo ini have finally got grandma to agree to seeing her grandchild , and hubby does not want it , he thinks that if she cant be bothered to make time for her then i should not chase it up , this is his mother , im not a dub , i can see his point but think it important to try and keep in contact .

Abuse at bethel question...
by mkr32208 ini was just thinking when i was a witness i knew all about the pedophiles that lurked in halls (i was abused myself) so i knew and it never effected my faith.
i just said 'imperfect men' moved on.
however if i had heard of a sex scandle at bethel that would have been very different.

please dont think that would make any difference to your average dub , he just was not a "true j w " was the talk after , i dont know of anyone that was put off by that , except the abused kids and thier parents , everyone thought he was wonderful till he got found out !!!!

i knew someone that went to bethel in america , found a guy that worked there , he came over to england and married her , then he abused loads of kids in the congregation , after prison sentence he got sent back to the states .

by karter inwe had a guy who used to bang on about natural remedies.. at the doors and meetings he would tell everyone what was wrong with them and what to take to remedy it he even told the brothers of for sell coke at the assemblies.. however there was know remedy for his mental health apart from that he was a fat little porker who looked like you could grow spuds on his teeth and washing wasnt big on his agenda last i heard he joined scientology.. we had 4 sisters in the congro pregnant one nut case confessed to the elders he was father to all of them.. one sister used to attack the po's wife in the kh then stand up through the meeting and abuse at the speaker after that they would call the sike team it wasnt uncommon for her to go door to door at midnight.. last i heard she became a counsellor..
