  this morning, a poster asked me why i still go on field service:.

  just wondering if your conscience bothers you that you are continuing to "spread the jw gospel"?

  Note that Truthsearcher just asked a question, she didn't criticise or call anyone a hypocrite.

  Zico and all: I want to apologize if I gave the impression that Truthsearcher called me any names. As English is not my first language, sometimes is kind of difficult for me to express myself.

  I have been exchanging emails with Truthsearcher for almost a month, and she is one of the kindest people I've found here in the forum. She always have encouraging words for me, and I'm very grateful for her help.

  Just wondering if your conscience bothers you that you are continuing to "spread the JW gospel"? Do you have plans to stop fs soon? Just curious.(http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/11/149410/2719209/post.ashx#2719209)

  I started looking in the forum for people that are in the same situation, and I found this thread titled “Active Elders who post on JWD”. (http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/12/139686/2496757/post.ashx#2496757 ) It is from August 2007. I started posting in the forum in October, and never noticed it until today.

  I think that it will be appropriate to re-open this thread, because I know that there are many newbies like me that are going throw the same issues. I noticed that some people think that having “privileges” in the congregation and posting here in the forum makes us hypocrites. I explained the last poster why I’m still inside JW:

  To tell you the truth: Yes. My conscience bothers me most of the time. I still do it because I have all my family inside the Borg, and I have to figure how to help them out. If I get disfellowshipped, I will lose my communication channel with them...

  What do you think? Do you have any recommendations for people that have "privileges"(tm) and want to step down??

  i like to read the km to see what the wtbts is saying, and then to think about what they really mean.. information appears in the km when problem need to be addressed in the organization.

  the article on.

  the front page "make the most of your time in the ministry" was insightful to me.

  Truthsearcher: To tell you the truth: Yes. My conscience bothers me most of the time. I still do it because I have all my family inside the Borg, and I have to figure how to help them out. If I get disfellowshipped, I will lose my communication channel with them...

  In the meantime, I'm trying to use the bible more, and finding "common ground" while preaching (Jesus, love of God, etc.) I DONT talk about WT's point of view, or that "we have the truth". I'm not conducting any bible study.

  Now you know our little secret!!!

  This is my Saturday Morning schedule:

  1) Early Laundromat/Phone booth service: 7:00am to 8:30 am.

  2) Breakfast from 8:30 to 9:30. Coffee, donuts and gossip. :)

  3) Group meeting is supposed to be at 9:30, but I always wait until 9:45 to read the Daily Text, "for the ones that comes late"

  4) "Preaching" from 10:00 to 11:00. If I have a "Return Visit", I'll do it in that timeframe. If I don't have one, I'll ask my wife (Who's still a believer) to go with her to her RV...

  Who has a similar schedule???

  iam now as what was announced at a recent meeting that iam "no longer a jehovah's witness" all of my family and friends are witnesses so this will ailenate me from all of my friends and family.

  but i feel like i don't want to go back.

  i really hate the feeling of isolation and shamefulness while iam sitting in the meeting, what's the point of it all.

  Generation change before 1950

  i am trying to piece together the development of the witnesses generation doctrine between 1927 and 1950. i have a copy of the feb 15th wt of 1927 identifying the generation as the anointed and am wondering when they changed their view that the generation constituted the wicked.

  Jesus indicated that the true followers of Christ who would compose the remnant on earth at the end of the world would observe these things, and that, if continuing faithful to the end, they would see the kingdom of God established in complete glory: "Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." (Matt. 24: 34) And then for the further encouragement of the faithful remnant he said: "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." — Luke 21:28."

  Were YOU a JW Who Was Always Afraid, Depressed or Ill?

  while i was an elder (in 2 congregations), over the years, i saw most witnesses that suffered from s o m e t h i n g.. either a witness had chronic depression, mysterious ailments that were never clearly diagnosed by a doctor, or were in fear.

  afraid to offend another brother's conscience.,afraid to upset the elders.

  afraid to grieve the holy spirit.

  But let me tell you something: This board has been a blessing. I can really vent here, and it helps me a lot. And I've known very kind people here, willing to help!

  I'll survive :) Knowing the real truth now, I no longer feel "accused". I just need to be patient.
