  where is the wt quote about nobody should have to choose between family and a religion?

  sorry i have read it several times here including this past week and can not find it...i have tried to block out my parents in my mind and heart to no avail...no contact for at least six months and i am thinking about sending them an email and including this quote....doubt it will help but i feel the need to do something....at least let them know i am not ok with this total shunning shit....holding my family and friends hostage does not make me want to "restore my relstionship with jehovah"!!!!

  !....nor go back to that religion....it makes me bitter is all...an ya....i need to let go of that....but this religion just keeps taking and taking and taking more of what was my life away..................oompa.

  a couple who were very close friends with my wife and i when i was a jw had a few kids that grew up.

  none of their kids remained jw despite their heavy activity while growing up.

  at my great uncles funeral...annointed supposedly...they gave out pens with scriptures printed on the side and it said "jehovahs witnesses offer free home bible study"....he was in advertising among other things and handed these suckers out all over Pittsburgh when he was alive....ugh.....oompa

  i went into a catholic church in nyc once just for the hey of it...my son was with me...i saw the process of dipping a finger in water...kneeling and crossing yourself...and i guess a prayer....so i did it to...my son got a kick out of it.......oompa

  I don't believe the Bible is Inspired of god - Why do you / don't you?

  many of you may know that i was brought up a witness and stayed in until the age of 42, even reaching the dizzy heights of being a congregation elder.

  i was unusual in that, even as a witness i studied to degree level, on a part time basis, sponsored by my employer.

  my first was in chemistry and my masters is in business administration.

  heck no...it would be stupid to inspire something to be written on crappy paper...let supersticious copy it over and over....and preserve no original copies???...and why inspire???...hell he supposedly wrote some of it himself on clay tablets which would have made more sense as far as preserving it...so why not make it obvious like inside on the wall of the pyramids....or on the face of solid stone mountian...i mean how stupid...ANYBODY can claim to have been inspired by god...and oh yeah...that is another one of those INVISIBLE things you just gotta trust in....barf........oompa

  my first one...eclectic...and warm...i love nonjugemental and who the hell would not?...some seriously interesting people there....and most were younger than me but that is ok...young people help keep you young.......oompa.

  Sacroiliac Joint Pain - Anyone?

  about ten days ago this pain started...kind of around my hip bone then gradually increasing around my back and down my groin.

  i managed to see a dr last thursday and although i had no urinary symptoms i thought it was something to do with my kidney.

  by then it was becoming unbearable and strong analgesics and anti inflammatories weren't touching it.. the dr disagreed and said 'i think this is the sacroiliac joint'.

  the very best i think you can do is buy an inversion table and hang your ass upside down...in ten minutes you may have amazing relief....i mean...kaboom...way better than my chiropractor...only a hundred bucks at a used store

  and also learn a good piriformis stretch...on back leg laid over and very contorted unfortunatly...it tugs on your sacrum...painful lil bugger...and yes get a massage focusing on all that lower stuff....oomps

  i am soooooooo far from removed...and it suck...and i cant help it right now....many jw employees....good ones...that i cant do without right now...and frankly would feel bad letting them go for jw bs reasons....i have some personal ethics...know that shocks a lot you lol.............oompa
