  well, 'radio free europe' worked with time against the ussr (and actually ussr destroyed itself as it only drastically hurt their own people).

  This is true. Never before has there been a worldwide medium that is all but impossible to shut up. Even Al Qeida (sp) get shut down, but pops right back up. And it does not cost much or is free (libraries...I wonder how many active Dubs go there to lurk). It must be already having an effect, or the FDS would not have adressed it in the Sept KM QB. I told my Dad the FDS says they are providing all the food needed, but evidently not for me or the ones they wrote about that want more---from "outside resources."

  Burger Time there is no doubt in my mind that the GB memebrs are a group of ruthless opportunists who know well their policies cause a lot of harm but will not change them because that will undermine their objectives.

  I think the above was from Greendawn. I had to repost this line I was so distracted---The GB sure do work hard at what they do for little pay, kind of like some elders, it is kind of surprising. Sorry I am getting off the subject a little, but boy has this thead triggered some supportive posts. I have not been able "to get over it" for two years now since really having my eyes opened, and I am still "in." But already, my name and the word Apostate are often in the same sentence, and have been talked to about it by elders. My cell phone use of 2000 minutes a month average, is down to 400, nobody calls anymore. My marraige and relationship with son/friends is very strained, and I am not even OUT YET! I am trying to make new friends, but of course my wife freaks out if I want to have them over.

  Exactly, and yet THEY cope just like we do. We pray for HS for endurance, for strength, they endure the same crisis and ailments we do, and we say they have to spirit. Some even pray to be healed and Im not seein much a that. If I am going to pray for it, damn it, I want to FEEL it, hell pick me up off the couch and hold me to the ceiling, then I'll know it's working. Praying for strength, faith and endurance is all a mind game I think because all other faiths do it and they have the same sucess rate at things personally as we do.

  but poor bad oompa has hindered it.....so punish my family too

  New Light.... Does a new questions from readers Trump and old one????

  how does all of this work.

  i read a 74 watchtower that says you can talk to your dfed relatives and its your decision.

  yet i hear that the current understanding is you cannot.. can i bring up an old article to my mother about talking to me or does a new one trump the old??
