  in the 1950's i remember they used to say what they were disfellowshipped for, whether it be fornication, stealing, etc.

  then it was disfellowshipped for "loose conduct", then "conduct not becoming a christian.

  " then it was simply "disfellowshipped" or "disassociated.

  I was too oblivious to realize that the local needs parts were in regards to my congregation....I ignorantly thought it was in regards to the town, or circuit of the congregation....lol...boy was I dumb! I would never have a clue about who they were talking about.

  NOw, they have simplified the disfellowshipping / dissasociating announcement to protect them form being sued. Now the congregation is totally in the dark about if the person LEFT on their own, or were removed...boy, how convenient for the Society

  I'm not old enough to remember when it was announced that way...but, if that is the case, then that means, that people were DF'd based on what they did, Not based on repentance.

  ya know those days when you know you should have stayed in bed?.

  i had to go to the grocery store, as i was walking in i noticed a man and a woman behind me and both were looking at my butt.. it's a nice butt but usually doesnt get much attention.

  i resisted the urge to brush the back of my pants off till they were inside and out of sight... i did and didnt feel anything... later on in the store i got that " feeling" that somene was behind me.. turned around and a woman was looking at my butt.

  LOL! This thread made me laugh so much! Thanks candidlynuts!

  I was thinking why should so many women be looking at you, surely there aren't so many lesbians around that enjoy looking a other women's butts. I suppose next time you will check for that melted chocolate.

  Women don't have to be lesbians to check out other's women's derriers, especially if it's a NICE posterier that a woman has. Many straight women look, just for the sake of looking, not because they lust after that woman's nice behind. Not saying that all women look at other women, but I had to correct your misconception that only gay women look at other women('s bums, bodies). My cousin is a famous bum looker. She's hilarious! She's happily married with 2 kids. -e

  it seems you have to be of the "popular crowd" on this forum to express feelings and views.

  as i am not of this crowd, i have recently recieved alot of not so friendly comments and p.m.s from people who seem to think they need to put me in my place.

  it is funny how some people can express their views and opinions and everyone still loves them.

  faithful with what? oh righ!! faithful with making sure you are being steadily mind-controlled and indoctrinated with their lies.

  It means they had foreknowledge that the twin towers were going to be hit.

  no doubt in my mind.

  This wasn't an act of terrorism, It was a brilliant sinister plan.

  Bush only looks and articulates stupid, which is of course, perfect. People underestimate his administration's ability to carry out such a calculated, devasting plan to get the oil in the middle East, and whatever other motive they have for being there.

  bottom line - money, and LOTS of it.
