  GPS Stolen - anyone know a way to track it down???

  it's the magellan roadmate one.

  my husband got it.

  the company is only open during business hours... wondering if there's a way to plug in the p/n number and find out where it is when somebody goes to use it....

  Each unit has a unique ID, but unfortunately it receives only and does not transmit back in a way it can be tracked.
  
  I have handheld Garmins and I put my name in the startup screen on the chance that if it gets "misplaced" someone could return it to me.
  
  Now, if I can find another 50 geocaches, then my total would be 500.

  with gold over $1,000 per ounce, i'd recommend that you sell it!

  it will be only worth the scrap prices but you might be shocked to see how much money you can get!!

  I think you are looking at it backwards. It is not so much the fact that gold is now $1000 an ounce, but it is also a fact that the dollar has declined in value to 1/1000 of an ounce of gold.
  
  If you assert that the price of gold will drop, then you are also asserting that the value of the dollar will increase and oil and other commodities will fall in price.

  Given that he is responsible to fight crime then if he is involved in crime he has a conflict of interest and must rightfully recuse himself.
  
  Really though, consensual adult activities do not need to be administered or prohibited by civil authorities.

  I hear my poor study conductor lament that he needs to "do more" instead of relaxing and enjoying his life. Sometimes I think I am doing him a favor by giving him a couple hours a week to talk with a real human.

  this afternoon my husband looked out the window and saw two unmistakable dubs shuffling up our street.

  he didn't have time to warn me before they came to our door (he knows i get a bit testy whenever they visit).

  i was in a nearby room, but heard nothing, saw nothing.

  in september 2004, farkel posted an article on this forum called "rutherford exposed: the story of berta and bonnie.

  " his essay, which subsequently was translated into several languages and which received over 10,000 views after the first month, spawned a thread that ran 28 pages and contained the collaborative research efforts of many in jwd.

  this thread was thought by some moderators to be the best in the forum -- not necessarily because of the claims in the original essay but because it inspired a staggering amount of research aimed at assessing the credibility of the claims made in the essay, as well as adding to our knowledge of this fascinating yet obscure chapter of watchtower history.

  All the most accomplished screenwriters in Hollywood could never spin a tale as epic as the Russell and then later the Rutherford era.
  
  This is incredible. I would never use a story like this to question the veracity of a modern JW. The literature does an adequate job in self refutation. It is instructive to see the characters behind the genesis of the literature and doctrines, and realize that each creature reproduces after its kind.
