Chick Comics are a campy genre that are worth collecting if you like fringe material. My suspicion is that the artist escaped from Mad Magazine and got a religious gig. Reading some of the more paranoid hateful tracts is a lot like reading the Turner Diaries.
Then there are the parodies, of course.....

It might explain the random molester.
Given how the higher ups have systematicly covered so many pedophiles to the point it got out of hand and led to enormous lawsuits, that points to ritualized sexual abuse.
Many religions have an exoteric message for R&F while having esoteric teachings for those who get initiated at a higher level, and that is where you find sexual rituals and magick.
Given that the WT has so many esoteric skeletons in the closet, it makes sense that this is one of them. -

by freydi inwatching dr phil today with a victim and rep from the ftc, who's only offer of help is to check your credit rating every few months.
of course he didn't offer any help for people who have been victimized for years, like children.
why do we live in society when victims have no recourse except to go the legal profession who made the laws that protect the criminals to begin with?

The congress at the time made a new hires database, allegedly to go after parents behind on child support. They also mandated that states collect social security numbers and tie it in to drivers licenses. The president signed off on this madness.
The predictable result was that complete identity records were tied together with financial data and gave thieves a one stop location to steal identities.
Did government officials correct this disaster they have created? Not at all. They have been too busy investigating steroid use in baseball players, and panty sniffing ventures in brothels. Then to show their contempt for Americans they created the RealID act which will lead to even greater abuses in identity data misuse. -

This JW version of annointed is nonsensical. If it is of the Revelation 144,000 and it is literal, well it would be nice to actually read the Bible and not a whacked our Revelation Climax book. Then you would see, oh my, these are all guys who are virgins. They have not "defiled themselves with a woman." So any married guy claiming to be in that group is a fraud and a pretender, worthy to be at least mocked, and even tarred and feathered.

as a jw, i grew up reading, rereading, and rereading the revelation book.

I started with the Hal Lindsay book, Late Great Planet Earth. It was interesting, though I have noticed with more recent books, and going back to 19th century books, that the writers are very adept at mapping supposed prophecy on to the current events of their time.
After learning more about history and the early church, it makes more sense to read Revelation as a coded message of its time.
