  Should We All Go to Memorial- And Partake ?

  should we all go this year and partake of the emblems?.

  i think it would be a real nice project for us !!!!!!!!!

  the increase of partakers would just be to much,.

  Another dream of returning to the Kingdom Hall

  last nite i had another dream, it has been awhile and since consciencely i don't want to go back to the kh, it is a little disturbing.

  i dreamed i went back but went to a different congregation , but i saw many of the same people i grew up with , i threw my last pack of cigs away.

  i wondered why so many people were afraid to talk to me, but i was glad to see them.

  I think I dreamt that dream because I was just feeling loss, it was the people , the security that the religion gave me

  Makes sense.

  I told my husband about this dream , like so many others, and he said maybe it is because I miss my spirituality.

  I could be wrong but i think it's not because you miss your spirituality..but because you BELIEVE you have to go to the kingdom hall..the place you grew up in practically, to get a SENSE of the spirituality that you wish to achieve.

  I havent found any sense of hope , faith or connection to others, like I did as a JW, even if it was based on falsehood.

  Yes I understand where that comes from. That was the only place that made you feel 'welcomed' ...then again that was only if you did accordance with their doctrines and beliefs.(sounds like the 'world' doesn't it? 'the world is fond of what is it's own') When i finally had decided to leave the organization two-three years ago...being only 18 at the time...i felt very vunerable...i had known the jw's since i was 10...i became intensely affraid of whether my decision was the right one or not. I didn't find any 'sense of hope, faith or connection to others like i did as a jw.' On top of which i had every jw brother and sister nagging voice in my head saying how i had become a victim of satan's world and grasp etc..and how YOUNG i was and because of my age and my 'inexperience' ...i didn't know any better. Of course now i don't believ ein religion period. They're all the same...religion is religion to me. All of them preach the same way...glorify themselves ...say they're the Truth...etc...lie after lie after lie. But anyhow...my point is...we've all been through it...and but it's normal...especially since you spent your childhood as a jw. That has a deep impact on the mind of a child. Seek out TRUTH in everything...is what i do to achieve spirituality...and don't take my word for it...God...is God...i don't know if you believe in him anymore or not...but if you do(well even if you don't)...ask for the answer...to your spirituality...direction...etc..and He will grant it. ~FS

  p.s. my dreams now consist of giant donuts chasing me trying to eat me :-D

  Help with 1914!

  i am discussing about the year 1914 with my dub friend...he insists, that the year 607 is scriptural,.

  because 607+70 is 537, when israelis returned to their land.

  i presented all the evidence about 586/87.

  It's actually quite very simple...if they don't want to accept the 587 thing...then change your approach...use another illustration..infact use the SAME illustration/dream that the king had...Daniel Chapter 4 ...read verses 20-22

  And point that out and say. It directly states who the dream was ABOUT!

  If THAT doesn't work...throw in Jah-Eshua did not recieve 'all power' and 'authority' till after his resurrection found in Mt 28:18 ...Maybe it's just me...but If He (Christ) recieved ALLLLLLLLLLLLL authority ...wouldn't that make Him KING? ...And when did this happen? after his resurrection...not in 1914. He made this statement to the disciples back then. Also...~Fs

  speaking with those who are df'd or da'd would you, could you, begin associating with your jw family and friends?

  not that i believe they will, but i was thinking "what if" they did.

  i wonder if one's jw family realizes how much damage is done to a relationship when they choose their "religion" over their family?

  the watchtower used to tell us that young ones should get to know the older members of the congregation because of their spiritual wisdom.

  i've found out that the same sort of principle applies to apostates.

  get to know the elderly ones, because they have all sorts of great dirt on the watchtower!.

  It's sad because we all know how witnesses responded to such newspaper articles and Truth exposed. I can speak for myself in saying that...i was like the Jw's in their attitude...it wasn't until i realized a scripture that differed from their doctrines that the Truth was exposed to me in regards the situation. Thankfully i stuck with the scripture... ~FS

  I didn't realize i was disfellowshiped till my mom told me like a month later or something after it had happened. As far as i'm concerned...i was very happy that i am ...though now i do have a small part that cries out for three very close friends of mine who are still in the organization. Two of which were also disfellowshiped but that was last year and one got reinstated by now. He talks to my mom occassionally asking about me but that's about it. The other i do not know where she is. I tried to get a hold of her last year just out of the blue but i heard she was in trouble. living out of state made things difficult, so i asked my brother to help fin dher and he never really attempted to. The third is in good standing and because of me being disfellowshiped, i highly doubt she would communicate with me for a very long period of time. So at the time i perfered to be disfellowshiepd...now i see a reason why i wish i wasn't. But it's all good...i'll be able to talk to them someday. ~FS
