Zeugen? I think the correct word is "Töricht", which is the German word for witless (Zeuge is German for witness).

How much will Life Change after its all over?
by Slidin Fast inthis period of crisis seems endless and absolutely weird but end it will.. in the mean-time people are working successfully from home, the skies have cleared, international meetings are held on line.
lots of frustrating commuter journeys are just not necessary.
the world is cleaning itself almost visibly in days, the skies are clearing.

I don't miss basketball (or, as they have earned the title of in the Clippers incident in 2014, Political Correctness ball) one bit. So nice to see the clippers getting so close to the playoffs only to have this come up--maybe had they not been so instrumental in destroying the rights of people to date those of their own race, I might not have hoped so much for them to lose so stupidly.
Also, I do not miss Barbra Scheißand one little bit. That wench could disappear off the face of the earth forever and I wouldn't miss it. That thing can barely put together a song without the help of Barry Gibb, Diana Ross, or Donna Summer that is worth anything. Rather, I listen to real music from CDs, mini discs, or MP3s that I bought (or, in the case of elusive tracks, just downloaded) and saved to MP3. As for movies, many YouTube videos and classic TV shows are better than what they are showing in the theaters. And I don't go to live performances--I would rather spend the money on MP3s of my favorite artists (such as David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, and Billy Idol). That way, I can listen to them long after the show has ended.

I don't really have that luxury with the job I have. But, I have been disinfecting whatever shopping carts I use for my work. Also, I wash my hands with soap and water for the full 20 seconds instead of 8-10 seconds, and use hand sanitizer to disinfect the finger scanner on my time clock before using it. And, I take advantage of the hand sanitizer dispensers where I shop--not so much to protect myself, but to protect others in case I might be carrying coronavirus or some random strain of the flu that might make it worse for others (I remember that, while I expect no sickness or a mild sickness, some people can and do die from this).
What I have been doing is to regularly stock up on things I might need in a supply disruption. Originally I thought it would be the duration of a quarantine (2-4 weeks). Then, as reported shortages came, I upped it to 6-8 weeks, then 8-14, and now I am trying to build up to a full 26 week stock-up against the communism that is coming in the wake of this virus. This will not so much stop me from getting the virus, as prevent me from getting into a fight or having a food shortage.
And I do take my vitamins. There are plenty of vitamins, minerals, and herbs that could make this into a "Oh wow, that didn't even hurt!" event instead of a trip to the hospital. Zinc gluconate, astragalus, oregano oil, echinacea, elderberry extract, schisandra berry powder, and lycopene are all on the list (I recommend 15-50 mg zinc as gluconate or chelated and no zinc oxide which cannot be used, and if you take zinc, make sure your magnesium levels are also good). Most vitamin C and zinc has disappeared from store shelves, but I usually have a 2 year supply of these against a time when vitamins will become illegal.
I am not really that worried about even getting it. It seems that every year my state has a period of widespread flu. I never take a flu shot, yet I never get the flu either. If the flu is so sloppy in catching me, I don't even expect the coronavirus to hit me either. But if it does, I still have the vitamins so I am that much more likely to just have a 2 week vacation instead of a 6 week stay at the hospital.

And we need these churches, synagogues, mosques, and communists gone. All they do is hold back the truth. Holding back the truth only makes these problems worse, since it is taboo to call out the source of them and eliminate it.
Holding back science also makes problems worse. If science were advanced without these good for nothing churches, these plagues would be stopped. One case of coronavirus would be the last, since there would be a simple cure. We would also not have to fear cancer, because a cancer diagnosis would lead to a simple remedy that would take the cancer right out at the source instead of years of chemo, surgery, and radiation that do nothing more than open the door for more cancer.
And, imagine the economy if science were unfettered by political correctness and regulatory agencies controlled by Christi-SCAM-ity. The bible is not a science text book. And neither are the talmud, torah, or quran. These books are all about holding humanity down, not advancing us. We need to stop squelching science that goes against these documents, or against communism (which is where all these foul, filthy programs lead to). Someone that develops a coronavirus cure would quickly get rich, and this would certainly lead to a quick cure for the common cold. Then, other diseases. We would exterminate colds, and the flu would be a thing of the past. Someone else would be working on tuberculosis, someone else would exterminate HIV, hepatitis, herpes, and so on. Before long, we would have an economy unencumbered by these sick days.
As for stomping China, more than that needs to be done. We need to stomp COMMUNISM, from every source. I don't care whether it is coming from China, from Russia, from Cuba, or from the church down the street. Communism is invasive, it forces its way against the will of people into every land, and is more contagious than the worse coronavirus. And, it is deadly. People get tortured and killed, and then their souls are damaged. Not to mention, it prevents science from doing its job. And yes, I feel political correctness put above science is a form of communism.

Zoom zoom rules +
by Wakanda in1. and this is most important, everyone listen up: dress up like you normally would for meeting!
-oh, gawd.. 2. if you use a zoom background, make sure it is not distracting, or something crass like prison.
stick with something dignified and subtle.

Rule 1: Don't get it at all. If you already have the equipment, don't use it for this. Instead, simply disconnect at the most "inopportune" time--hitting the red X at the top right of the screen usually does this quite nicely.
Dressing up as if for the boasting sessions is pointless. They are trying to get information out, right? Why not just use regular video streaming services for that? Anyone dumb enough to fall for it will watch those videos through, barring buffering and blocking (which can still happen with Zoom). I don't want any two-way monitoring on this--and, they don't deserve me there at all.

Donating to jesus or joke-hova is never a good idea. But, especially now. Back a few years ago, I would put my donation money into silver. With the silver shortage we have now, doing that is nigh impossible (and, with the uncertainty of my work, or whether they are going to take my stimulus money out of my check as I have seen reports of people being coerced into signing this money away, this is not advisable right now). Instead, now I am putting money into basic food and supplies for the potential for 6 months of shortages or lockdowns.
And, with that prospect ahead, I feel it especially dumb to be donating to jesus or joke-hova now. While a supermarket job is more secure than many others right now, a total lock down would end even that. I would rather have enough saved for my rent and utilities than waste it on any church. And many people are in far worse shape than I am, because they did nothing to prepare for this in January or February. They wouldn't last more than 3 days, let alone the 6 months this could last (or even the 2 weeks they are urged to prep for at this time).
That in mind, I think it is a horrible thing for religions to be hounding people to donate money at this time. If their god is the source of all wealth, then let that thing donate. People hounding people to donate at a time like this are effectively robbers. They are robbing the flock. I can't recall even one time when jesus or joke-hova actually saved anyone from destitution that put faith in that thing. Not even one.

Question For People Being Put Onto A Ventilator - How Is It Powered?
by Simon inimagine you or a loved one have to go onto a ventilator and are given the choice of how it should be powered.
what are people picking?.
coal or oil powered energy.

I believe the greenest option is not getting it at all, and that means avoiding the highest risk exposure places. At least at supermarkets, there is a decent way to avoid the worst of it: Hand sanitizer. I also use sanitizing wipes on whatever shopping carts I use to work or shop with. Soap and water hand washing makes sense--while I work during the nights (meaning a mask would be of almost no use), dirty surfaces can spread this.
Next, there are lists of supplements to take to reduce your risk of severe symptoms. Some will help your immune system, while others attack the virus itself. Your choices are quite a few--goldenseal, ginger, garlic, echinacea, oregano oil, vitamin C, vitamin D, astragalus, schisandra berry, elderberry extract, organic vegetables (which have more nutrients than regular ones), different types of mushrooms, and even many fruits. Regardless of how the ventilator is powered, if you take some of these supplements and throttle the disease enough for your immune system to fight it, you might not need one at all. And that would be far greener.
Bonus: By not attending the Coronavirus Hall or church, you are saving gas that you would have otherwise wasted getting to and from that place.

Plasma treatment for COVID-19
by frozen2018 insaw on the news a story about using plasma from people who have recovered from covid-19 being used to treat people who have covid-19 via transfusion.
well, if that proves to be effective, i guess it would really stink to be a jw!
maybe the governing body would decree that in instances of covid-19, and only with covid-19, the whole "no blood" thing would be ignored.

Just one more thing in the list of things to fight this illness. And, one more that jokehovian witlesses are going to put artificial barriers around.
My idea: Multiple layers of protection. First, trying to avoid getting it in the first place. Going door to door, even if one is doing so because the hounder-hounder is being too pious, is a sure way to get it. Then, it is spread in whatever car groups are around. If they try holding in-person boasting sessions too soon, they risk having the whole congregation pick up the disease. Not going could mean not getting it at all, and then not having to worry about plasma treatment.
The next layer is different supplements. I am currently taking several different supplements just to throttle this in case I get exposed (elderberry and schisandra berry are prominent here), with oregano oil and echinacea on standby in case I start feeling sick or strongly suspect I may have been exposed. This will further throttle it, giving my immune system a chance to fight it with minimal or no sickness. Again, the plasma is saved for someone that needs it more.
From there, the next step is the drug chloroquine. This is supposed to be used for malaria, but it has helped people with coronavirus. To me, this is safer than a blood transfusion that may or may not be compatible with my blood type. Again, it is easier to make chloroquine than plasma. Along with the supplements, that could be enough to prevent further treatment from being necessary.
The plasma treatment would be next after that. It is just one more potential treatment option should it become necessary. But, better if I can stay away from churches and the coronavirus hall and not get it at all. Even with my supermarket job, I usually miss out on most of the common flu that goes around, so there is a pretty good chance that I won't even get sick at all. And no, I am not going to do anything stupid (like licking toilet seats--a poor way to get coronavirus but an excellent way to pick up hepatitis and similar infections). Nor am I going to be attending any churches or Coronavirus Halls, which is a far more efficient way to pick up coronavirus.

If You're Just Here to spread Your TDS, It's Time to Say Goodbye
by Simon inif all you want to do it deliver a constant whine of "orange man bad" then find someplace else to do.
it.
frankly, i can't be bothered with the bullshit anymore.. honestly, your politics and the whole virtue signalling woke brigade has actually started causing real deaths and was ruining life for many before that.. if you can't control your disease, then i'll do it for you.. it's not open for debate..

I, for one, think "orange man" is far better than anyone else we could have. He is the only one that even pretends to be fighting against political correctness--which is out of control. And, he has done better than KILLary would have. As far as I see, both KILLary and Sanders are communists, and I would rather have someone that is "politically incorrect" at times than communism.

My congregation is something else!
by nowwhat? innot only do they want everyone dressed up for the zoom meetings( which i won't do) they decided to keep the zoom meeting at 1pm sunday!
so they don't upset their spiritual routine!
ugh!

Having these meetings like this, imposing the same dress-up as for a physical boasting session, is perhaps the stupidest thing one can do. Do they have the ability to stream videos? Why not just do that, and let those who refuse to watch those videos simply deal with the consequences? I hope they find many people whose unbelieving mates blast Christmas carols or heavy metal/rap music during the stream, right in front of the zoom cameras. Or display Christmas lights or other seasonal/holiday decorations (or even blatantly Satanic items, such as Demon sigils and the like) right on the camera.
As for me, it is not worth the electricity to stream one of those wastefests. If they infect my computer with this, I will simply disconnect from the Internet and run a full antivirus scan. I find the process, I will use my task manager to try and shut it down, then try to do a clean uninstall of it from my computer. (And there is such a thing as rebooting my computer--and blaming Windows 10 when I have Windows 7.)
