  Where Are You From?

  alot of members don't have a flag or country name beside their user name, and well frequently one doesn't know where that particular person is from, tell us your country, state, county or what ever you feel like giving out.

  if you are going to post please at least devulge your country.. me, i'm originally from taranaki, new zealand via auckland.

  hello guys!i am just introducing myself here.

  i have been visiting this site for about a year but never really posted much but i have really learned and enjoyed the topics on this forum, in fact i think this is the best discussion forum i have yet to come across .. a little about my situation is i am a non religious person married to a devout witness, when i met him 4 yrs ago he was out in the "world", never really mentioned his beliefs as we were enjoying life without it.

  the more we dated the more i realized that something wasn't right.

  Was it because the cong felt mislead??? Like the couple was lying? That blows my mind, seems to me like it would have been okay to continue on with a wedding to have a celebration of love.

  i was thinking about if i should start telling my 2 year old about santa claus.

  after realizing that i've been lied to my whole life from all the jw bullcrap should i lie to my child about santa claus?

  Just kidding....Seriously, I think that it's normal for children to believe in Santa. It adds some Magicalness (is that a word?) to Christmas for them. It's just part of being a kid...

  I'm actually checking into doing some volunteer work at our local orphanage. There's so much I would do for the community (especially the kids) if I won the lottery.

  i submitted "hit house" for entry after i posted about ladies not frequenting "hit houses," and some on here had no idea what i meant.. i felt sure urban dictionary would have it listed, but, alas, no.. i used "pink pete" as a username because "snowbird" was already taken.. i was called pink pete as a child.. tee hee hee.. sylvia.
