WT Society is getting everything they deserve that's coming to them in a negative way. They can only hide behind their ' religious ' mask for so long- bad karma will end up biting them big time and they will have to pay for their crimes. WT leaders and WT heavy's are NOT above the laws of the land

by Jayk init's hard for me to go to any event with witness family i havent seen in a long time..i have a pretty personal story that i don't care to share but since the incident, my mom's family stopped talking to me..when i go to family events everything feels fake.
i feel like i did something wrong and i'm around people who i'm not good enough to be around.
i went over five years recently not talking to my family (brothers/mom)after my divorce.

JAYK- I totally understand what you're going through and how you feel. I'm the youngest of my siblings and the ONLY one who got out of the Witnesses about 14 years ago. I wasn't DFed, but just stopped going due to not agreeing with the WT Society and their injustices. Any time that I've gotten together with my 3 older JW siblings- it's always been an " official " function like an occasional wedding or funeral. And although we hugged, there really isn't much conversation because most all they want to discuss is what's happening in Jehovah's Witness land - as they feel THAT is the only important thing to discuss. WT Society influences them to feel that family, personal relationships don't really matter - but only WT functions and JW issues matter.
So like yourself, my conversations with them get very stunted with both me and them grappling for words to say or to try to have normal conversations. Since I'm probably the best conversationalist in my family ( JW or NON -JW I got that from my mom ) I can carry a conversation but I end up doing most of the talking because my JW relatives have a " goal " or an " agenda " when talking to me - which is trying to steer or control the conversation BACK to JW speak and topics. But I just steer it back to family topics and ask how their lives are going ? And I get short, clipped answers like " fine " or " we are doing fine " . I mean it's so stunted it's ridiculous. I have much better conversations with the 50 % of my family who are Ex-JW's as at least they'll talk about anything. You'll find that our JW relatives are extremely limited in what they'll talk to us about because in their brains- they are already pre-judging you and me as " heathens " or unfit disbelievers in their organization. It is what it is. Try hanging out with any ex-JW or Non-JW relatives you have. I believe it will make you happier and brighten your day - as well as lighten your load as regards to stress. Who needs stressful relations when it comes to relatives anyway ? My 2 cents. Put yourself around people who see and appreciate YOU for being YOU. Good luck, take care, Peace out, Mr. Flipper

2 witness rule
by punkofnice ini'm gobsmacked.. the 7 rock star popes in warwick know darned well that the 2 witness rule allows child rapists to get away with their crime.. geoff (whacko jacko) jackson was at the australian royal commission and should have seen first hand what a vile man made law the 2 witness rule is.. my question is, why do they still insist on this pervert protecting rule?.
i know it's a highly controlling cult but still...........................stuff my old boots, mate!.
the above is more a rhetorical question.

Punk- The JW's take everything literally many times in the Bible so when they read this stupid crap about " at the mouth of two witnesses every matter must be established " - it's like the old expression we used to hear kids say in school when we were young " this I know, for the Bible tells me so. "
WT leaders and JW's are so naive and gullible they actually believe most of this junk in the Bible. However they prefer to believe Bible junk that will help them save their financial empire. So they pick and choose which Bible junk they'll use - and which junk they'll ignore. And at the end of the day WT leaders feel they are " entitled " to make these decisions on behalf of 8 million gullible JW's because they think Jesus and Jehoover have chosen them to lead these 8 million JW's into the imaginary " paradise".
It's insane, but hey a bunch of sociopathic, narcissistic nutcases run the WT Society- so what are we to do ? Just expose them as best we can ! Take care buddy, Peace out, Mr. Flipper

Watchtower Loses an Appeal
by TerryWalstrom inpublication court of appeal, fourth appellate district division one state of california osbaldo padron, plaintiff and respondent, v. watchtower bible and tract society of new york, inc., defendant and appellant.findingwatchtower has abused the discovery process.
it has zealously advocated its position and lost multiple times.
yet, it cavalierly refuses to acknowledge the consequences of these losses and the validity of the court's orders requiring it to produce documents in response to request number 12. and, in a further act of defiance, watchtower informed the court that it would not comply with the march 25, 2016 order 39 requiring it to produce documents responsive to request number 12. the court, following lopez, supra, 246 cal.app.4th 566, as an incremental step toward terminating sanctions if watchtower persists in its unjustified conduct, imposed monetary sanctions.

The Governing Body Doing The Math As Corporate CEOs
by Brokeback Watchtower inlett announce to his braindead indoctrinated rank and file masses the wt corporation is short on funds and so they have money problems.
he made light of his role and the rest of management's predicament by saying on a public broadcast: "in doing the math we found that the amount of money flowing out will be much greater than the amount of money coming in at this time".
clearly the guys on the gb have very little business sense to let things get so out of hand with tons of projects in the works and having to close all of them except for warwick, and one in england.. i have to wonder just what type of math these dead heads on the gb even know or consider when making all their plans for the future of the corporation they have leadership over.

My big curiosity is this : I wonder how much of that 2 billion $$$$ is being deposited by the WT Society in off shore bank accounts where it can be hidden in the Cayman Islands or some other secret location ? It's a question I feel that begs an answer. If only I was a fly on the wall. Perhaps something to research - if anything can be discovered

In what decade was it clearly apparent that Watchtower was a high control religion?
by UnshackleTheChains ini'm just curious to get people's views on this.. the bible students seem to start of as quite a liberal group under charles taze russell, albeit he had some whacky teachings going on.
obviously things began to change under rutherford.
but what decade did it become abundantly clear that the society was indeed high control religion or even labeled a cult?.

I tend to agree with Dozy if you look at the total history of the WT Society since it's beginning in 1879. The use of control towards JW's. Rutherford's takeover was a pretty hostile act with it severing the organization most definitely . In our modern times- ( seeing how I was born in the late 1950's ) I definitely noticed a tightening of the control from WT leaders in the early 1980's after the big blowup at Bethel and Ray Franz's exit. It was around that time that GB member Ted Jaracz issued his infamous comment that, " the needs of the organization are more important than the individual needs of the brothers and sisters. " At that point in the early 1980's we knew that the jig was up- from that time forward the power and control would each year tighten down heavier and heavier on JW members controlled from top level WT leaders. And now with the new GB 2.0 - the control has just gotten ridiculous

True or False did the Watchtower Corporation create false doctrines intentionally to enhance the proliferation of their own publications ?
by Finkelstein inmuch as been revealed over the years to the date setting doctrines made by the wts.
such as ( 1874, 1914, 1925 , 1975 this generation, the last days, the end times etc.... which were not created by other christian based faiths.. as to critically examine why might reveal a hidden agenda to all these date setting proclamations.. the point in question is did the wts and its leaders intentionally manipulate or exploit the preaching of the gospel to enhance the proliferation of their own printed publications ?.
i would say convincingly yes, no question.

Good thread Finkelstein , I mean, Jesus Christ - if anybody reads the book " The Kingdom of the Cults " by Walter Martin it goes into the whole " Miracle Wheat " scam brought on by C.T. Russell and what a financial rip off it was. I remember hearing that my mom's dad, my grandpa, a non-JW warned my mom about not joining the Witnesses and warned her about C.T. Russell and " judge " Rutherford's shenanigan's in the early 1950's before my mom and dad became JW's while they were " studying " with JW's. Unfortunately- for our entire family my parents did not listen to my grandfather about not joining - and it's caused 65 years of a divided family with half being JW's and the other half of us not JW's. Untold misery. WT organization is nothing but a mind control cult - masquerading as a religion
