  Scientology special on A&E tonight with Leah Remini

  i'm not sure where it is airing elsewhere, but on the a&e channel, at 7p then again at 10p est tonight, leah remini is doing a scientology special.

  it looks to be a great show.

  i am not sure if it is one time, or the beginnings of a series.

  I have a lot of admiration for Leah Remini to put this together. Takes a lot of courage after what she went through being abused by the Scientology cult herself. My wife and I read her book . Outstanding, I highly recommend reading it if you are able to get a copy. I didn't watch this last night- but I intend to watch it tonight or tomorrow on Xfinity on demand on cable . Nice feature to have to catch shows we missed

  i heard my hard out jw sister say that for the 1st time in many years and i'm hearing more and more jw's saying that.

  years ago when i was in they talked about the new system coming any minute..

  When I hear a JW say " even IF this system goes on " - I usually tell them right after they say that - " oh, don't worry it WILL go on. " I was telling my older JW dad that I'd get some stuff paid off in about 3 years and he said, " this system may not be here still ".

  My reply was, " Yeah dad, it will be here still, I'm sure of it. " I truly believe the WT Society is criminal in making these older JW's believe they won't die. I mean - Jesus Christ- look at em' all ! With wrinkles and growing scales ? I mean can you imagine the cognizant dissonance 80 to 90 year old JW's are experiencing right now ? It's like , " Oh shit. Paradise hasn't come yet and I'm dying. WTF is happening ? " You KNOW that stuff has to be playing out in their collective minds right now . Very sad. 8 million people were lied to believing they'd live forever and not have to die

  I agree the laws need to be changed in Canada for these types of situations and ALSO in the United States . Problem here in the States is religion in general is viewed as a " sacred cow " that can do no wrong or can't be touched in the name of alleged " freedom of religion " . Which of course I think I is ridiculous. What if practicing that " freedom of religion " causes thousands of deaths ? Then who gets held accountable ? It's usually not religious leaders. It usually ends up being no one held accountable. Just another reason I am so against organized religion. Religion literally gets away with murder in most societies

  Indeed Happy Thanksgiving to all of you ! Thanks for starting the thread ttdtt. Tomorrow we're having about 16 friends and relatives over to our house because that's when folks are able to get together with schedules and everything for a meal . Should be lots of fun as everybody is bringing something to the party- either food, wine, beer, desert, etc. We will have the wood stove burning as nights are getting cold now.   she has been keeping her distance, therefore staying loyal to jehovah.

  I agree with Wing Commander's comment " it's not about " putting Jehovah to the test " , as the organization doesn't equate to Jehovah " . Totally.

  But the problem is that your mom THINKS that the organization does equate to " Jehovahs " views. I can tell from her comments to you that she's still deeply mind controlled because she thinks if you just come back you'll get answers to all of your questions - which is not true. You'll just end up with more questions and insanity after the elders fumble around trying to answer you.

  It may be that in order to keep the peace you might have to just tell your mom " I have my views, you have your views - I respect your right to have your views , please respect my right to have my views " . JW's are really good at not respecting our personal boundaries. Hang in there

  Official Increase in the Number of Jehovah's Witnesses You Shouldn't Trust

  reports are coming from witnesses that, once again, the number of memorial partakers has risen considerably this past year, 2016. while confirmation is still to come on the exact numbers, the current explanations given for this increase surely causes a dilemma.. imagine the roman catholic church publishing each year the number of members who it felt were mistaken about what they believed in, that this same number of members was likely suffering from problems such as pride or even mental disorders or something along this line.

  this number, by the way, was in the thousands too and growing annually.

  what would you conclude, therefore about the catholic church and its admission?.

  " For one thing, why so many unsound members " ? The apple doesn't fall far from the tree- the WT Society leaders are unsound so they produce unsound members. Pretty simple.

  " What kind of religion produces thousands of people like this " ? A religion that PRETENDS to be a religion but in reality is a real estate/ marketing company giving out false hopes through mind control masquerading as a religion for financial purposes.

  " How does the Church know that these people have a mistaken view and what causes it"? WT leaders really don't know anything in reality. All they know is their false teachings which manipulate rank & file JW's to THINK that more of them have a " heavenly calling. " WT Society HAD to open up the heavenly calling to more JW's for basically selfish reasons- more of their Governing Body leaders were dying off being replaced by younger men of age 50 + who previously did not claim to have a hope of heavenly life. So about in 2005 WT Society TOTALLY changed their views of the heavenly calling being closed up in the early 1930's and opened it back up on their own to accommodate their Governing Body members having the alleged " heavenly calling " . It wasn't set up by God or any inspiration- just a random decision made by leaders of a cult to push their agenda of " end times " and control.

  " Is this a professional opinion, and if not, how could they even say such a thing about people " ? No, WT Society leaders are NOT professional in judging people. They DO make a profession out of controlling 8 million Jehovah's Witnesses through mind control- intentionally - in order to get control of JW's finances, lives, friendships, and any other material asset that can be used by WT leaders. They do this with persuasive tactics using FEAR and GUILT to manipulate JW's into thinking WT leaders are special and appointed by God- which is a lie, they are NOT appointed by God - they are leaders of an evil cult bent on controlling people and breaking up families. You ask HOW they can say what they do ? Easy- they're leaders of a mind control cult- they can say anything they want in a deceptive way in order to get rank & file JW's to obey them and do what they want. Think of the cult leader " Neegan " on the current " Walking Dead " episodes. Perhaps not with that much violence- but the psychological manipulation is exactly the same. Use FEAR and GUILT to control people and you've got them under your thumb. That is what WT leaders are good at doing- controlling people's lives. Period

  hi there i don't watch much of the propaganda on jw.org anymore but i did catch the november broadcast.. i think these guys are either evil or controlled by someone who is incredibly skilled at mind control.. firstly, they establish their authority by saying "everything" else is a lie - you can't trust media or anyone.

  "there is no inspiration today.." but they somehow have the direct connection with god - yuck.. then, they proceed with that disgusting "shunning" drama - but now it is not called shunning, (around 24 mins) the mother said... "if we were to stand between levi and the discipline he needs we would in affect be blocking an expression of jehovah's love from reaching him...".

  i am so angry at this, what a load.

  Thanks for the thread. Yes, I agree- WT Society IS an evil cult run by evil WT leaders. The insidious , deceptive way that WT leaders manipulate JW's minds is criminal really. I totally agree with Pale Emperor that it's an evil way to get JW's to think that they aren't being evil by shunning fading or ex-JW relatives but an " expression of love " from Jehovah. I mean- how sick can it get ? The next thing you know is WT Society will be telling JW's that it's " merciful " for Jehovah to destroy fading or ex-JW relatives as it will "put them out of their misery " for being " worldly " . I would not be surprised if they came out with this kind of reasoning. It's the next weird step after what they are saying now about shunning.

  Iwasblind- You are correct. This IS a human rights violation and I've been saying for years now that WT leaders need to be imprisoned for human rights violations . I will continue to bang that drum for anyone who cares to listen

  they came to my door to find me with a full beard and a nightmare before christmas hoody, playing a video game where the characters "do not act according to bible principles", and i happily answered the door.

  i simply smiled and told them no when they asked if i have a minute.

  SCHNELL - Thanks for the you tube. I agree most definitely- JW pedophiles should NEVER be allowed to go out in service in my opinion, alone or with somebody else. It's disgusting that this JW pedophile tried to PM your wife on Facebook - that's good that you stood up to him and made your position clear and to protect your wife. These pedophiles are predators and anything that can be done to expose them like the you tube on Cedars site is a noble and good thing to do. Good luck to you in your post-JW life my friend !   Good for Mr. Bourgon and Mr. Florez for speaking up and exposing the criminal acts of child abuse within the JW organization. If more and more people within the ranks of JW's start telling their experiences to the media it will cause more awareness on a global scale and perhaps leaders of this criminal organization will be held accountable for their awful child abuse policies.   SCHNELL- Very good job. Keep them at bay. Question for you : Was the pedophile that called on you working in service alone ? Or did he have another JW partner with him at your door ? Just curious as these pedophiles allegedly aren't supposed to work in field service by themselves calling on doors
