For those of you "not baptised" and too afraid to front the RC. WT is hoping you won't come forward.

hello to those following what is going in australia with our royal commission.. i want to let all those abused, neglected, shunned and blamed that i understand why you may not front the rc.

the wtbts is hoping you will consider yourself an invalid complainant, because you are not or were not.....baptised.

if you were abused at a young age and you told on your dad or the bad man that did it.......you would have been taken aside by the overseer and read scriptures about lying and being immoral; even if you didn't know what that word meant.

Umbertoecho, your experiences are not the least surprising to me. That's pretty bad.

So many abuse survivors have been treated the same way by the watchtower - it is their standard operation procedure. I'm talking about people I know personally. It's sick.

There are a lot of JW's "in good standing" that behave like a pack of hyenas.

It is so frustrating that they keep getting away with it. I wonder if abuse victims will not be hounded even worse now that this is in the news, to keep them silenced.

Wanted to bump this up so people can hear the proceedings. Thanks so much for posting these. It's obvious Applewhite's just a hired gun for WT leaders being paid to spew out the WT company line . Ridiculous. Wife ad I are going to finally start listening to Day 4 part 3 this afternoon. Been taking it slow as we've been busy

Applewhite's just being used and paid by the WT Society to say anything that will make WT leaders look better. WT Society's stalling tactics are something they consistently do in many court happenings with child abuse. To skirt around the real issues. It's ridiculous

Yes, indeed- I DO think that we are at the tip of the iceberg here. The titanic WT Society is wobbling a little right now. It's like Pandora's box right now - the more child abuse cases that get released out of the box, the more official commissions like the Australia Commission start investigating and this access to information is hit on millions of times on Google search- there is NO way the WT Society will be able to stop it from being known worldwide.

And with ex-JWs spreading the news on websites like this- before you know it if it keeps up the JW's will become KNOWN for allowing child molesters free reign and will become KNOWN for not reporting child molesters to police. It's how the " dirty laundry " business works in the media. Just my 2 cents

FREEMINDFADE- Thanks so much for posting these You Tubes . Very well done by these young folks. In my own JW family about 4 out of 8 from the generational age of 26 to about 42 years of age have exited the JW's. I hope it will be a few more in the years ahead. I have a good feeling about the generation coming up behind me in attaining their freedom. It is you tubes like this that some of that age can google and see that they are not alone in bolting for freedom of mind. Good job

Getting in a little late on this discussion - but no, I don't need to feel " personally vindicated " about anything. True justice for the victims and exposure of a criminal organization like the WT Society will vindicate itself AND the child abuse victims, THOSE are the people who need to be vindicated.

Many of us ex-JW's are just messengers getting the word out - we just ask " don't shoot the messenger ". I am satisfied that yes, the WT Society is being exposed for the criminal organization that it is, but there is STILL a lot of payback and injustices committed by the GB and WT leaders that need to be answered for. It's not over by any stretch of the imagination. Not until there are criminal indictments against the WT leaders will I be truly satisfied. And they are put in jail for crimes against humanity. Then I will be somewhat more satisfied. Even more so if the whole organization disintegrates

PETE- Good points. I think all we can do at this point as EX-JW's is make it known in our own little areas and contact news media outlets- also local JW kingdom halls leave news printouts in car windshields. Also bulletin boards at marketplaces . I'd E-mail your brother if you wanted me to. He doesn't know me from Adam and I'd just say that we have a list of random people we are E-mailing . Of course he may figure out that you put me up to it, so I don't know. The JW's may not be talking about it in the U.S. here right now- but in my 4 county area I'm going to WORK at getting them to talk about it very soon in a very REAL way

Royal Commission needs to call GB to personally testify

the gb needs to be subpenaed to testify just like losch was.

the commission needs to subpena each one individually and make separate fines when each one refuses.

I agree- the GB needs to be pulled and extricated from their freaking guilded cage in New York and hogtied to Australia to testify. They're so ADEPT at sticking their own foot in their own mouths it would be a riot to watch. Get Lett, Morris the third, and Losch over there - I bet it would get a million hits on google in a heartbeat- then access to WT child abuse information would REALLY get popping ! Bastards

I also wanted to mention - even just the fact that two of these JW child abuse victims in the CNN report wanted to commit suicide AFTER they were harshly dealt with by a WT appointed judicial committee of elders- should tell the world and the WT leaders that their tactics are faulty at best, criminal at worst

Wanted to bump this thread up from 4 days ago as I've been quite busy so I finally caught back up with it today. Thanks for your replies ! Good thoughts.

ORPHAN CROW- I agree with you. I think the commission officials see fully that JW child abuse victims ARE intimidated to come forward with accusations against pedophiles because of the harsh interrogation process. It's inhumane how victims are treated by WT appointed elders. I hope this commission FORCES the WT Society to change their policies- but I'm not holding my breath- WT leaders usually don't give in very easy- if ever. Very arrogant.

TRUTHSETSONEFREE- Way to go Isaac ! Good job for posting this link on other ex-JW websites. This news NEEDS to be spread. I just dropped off a few copies of the Australia News Releases about the 1,000 JW child molesters at my local Kingdom hall parking lot car windshields. They got a surprise when they got back from field service. I'm going to be hitting a lot more kingdom halls in the next couple weeks in my 3 to 4 county area.

NCC-1701- Yes, I do think the WT Society WILL send at least one GB member over to Australia to do some kind of damage control in front of either the media, or give a talk to JW's at a special assembly or something. Either both or one of those things. To calm the troops down and just say that " Satan has all forms of attacks and persecution on us brothers and sisters ! " You know - THAT kind of damage control so JW's don't think the GB is doing anything illegal.

WHATHEHADAS- I agree, if this doesn't wake up any non-mind controlled JW's nothing will. But it's amazing- different scenarios wake different people up where sometimes the obvious doesn't. It's weird.

ON THE WAY OUT- Good point. I wonder HOW your wife would respond if she saw the 1,000 Australian JW Child Abusers not reported headline on your computer ? Let us know her response if you get a response, should be interesting.
