getting abused (mentally) and then seem to form a relationship with the captives (wtbts).. there is also a condition called oslo syndrome, but haven't read up much about it.. personally, i think i might be suffering from the former.. would love to get a few opinions.....

Orphan Crow- Very good points you make. I agree wholeheartedly . And like I mentioned WT Society is already killing people with their no-blood policies , suicides by shunning, also the Malawi JW's not signing the political party card , I mean- it goes on and on. WT Society has a lot of blood guilt on it's head by pushing erroneous teachings into the heads of their JW members. WT leaders need to answer for their crimes -

Very good thread. I had doubts for years from 1989 on - and didn't exit finally until 2003 out of fear of reprisal from my fanatic then JW wife. I kept my doubts to myself for fear of being turned into the elders or that my JW family would shun me. Which to a good part happened ANYWAY after I left in 2003. LOL. However- by the time I actually exited the JW cult I had fortified my mind and built up my strength of conviction AGAINST the WT organization in realizing I was doing the RIGHT thing in exiting a criminal organization . So I understand the timidity of JW's not speaking out loud against the WT Society - they feel they'll lose everything -

Accident
by Louise inso over easter weekend i was house sitting a lovely place.
the back door was sticking and so in order to close it, gave it a pull with all my might.
my thumb happened to be nestled in the gap of the kitchen door.

LOUISE- So sorry to see that you bashed your thumb. Ouch ! I'm glad you got to the hospital and received stitches. Hope you heal up well. I'm sure it hurt like hell.
It's amazing how we can take our fingers for granted. I was sitting at my sons house the other day and my chair was on an incline- my chair accidentally tipped over ( I was sober ) and I tried to stop my fall and bashed my right pinky finger onto his BBQ grill. Sprained it really bad- I think- although I can't get the top joint to bend yet - been about 2 weeks swellings gone down but I might have to see the Doc about it.
I wish you the best of luck and man oh man- we all gotta treasure our thumbs and fingers ! Take care sis ! Peace out, Mr. Flipper

CAMPAIGN of HATE- Great thread ! Thanks for posting it. Indeed I agree with you and Orphan Crow that JW's are suffering from " Stockholm Syndrome " without even realizing it- and that's how it works. They are led to identify with their captors ( WT Society leaders /GB ) and " supporting the abusers reasons and behaviors " ( clamoring for a paradise and out of the same mouth upholding WT Society's policies towards pedophiles and child molesters ) , " isolation from perspectives other than the abuser " ( no amount of reasoning with mind controlled JW's who are NOT allowed to view ANYTHING critical of WT Society rhetoric or teachings - AKA " apostate " views ) .
I just got done reading a Rolling Stone magazine article on the Isis group and how aggressively they recruit young people from America with false promises of a " paradise " and how they promise these young people will " make a difference " in standing up for Allah or Muhammed - and how they are perceived as strong Spiritually for doing so and they use the term that they " have the truth " as well.
I agree with Orphan Crow that Jehovah's Witnesses are JUST as dangerous as radical Muslim terrorists or Isis - but in a different fashion- JW's may not be killing people literally in a violent fashion ( although thousands have died due to the WT Society no-blood policy , suicides due to shunning , and abuses due to molestations of children ) - but the message is JUST as destructive making JW's feel they are ABOVE and BETTER or somehow have a " higher purpose " than the rest of mankind and all other humans MUST capitulate or accept the WT Society's " God " or " purpose ".
When you really sit and think about it there is not much difference with the radical belief systems of Isis and Jehovah's Witnesses - one is more violent than the other - but the element of devotion and the Stockholm Syndrome is alive and well in both organizations. I appreciate Orphan Crows comparisons. it's really eerie when you think of how both groups individual minds in people are altered , manipulated, and controlled. Pretty scary

This is so disgusting it makes me want to puke all over the faces of the governing body members. These bastards need to be brought up on charges of crimes against humanity with the no blood transfusion issue. How many thousands of mind controlled brain dead JW's have lost their lives by following this advice or lost their children's lives by refusing blood ? WT Society leaders are blood guilty- plain and simple. How many more lives will be lost before WT leaders are held accountable for these crimes ? It makes me so angry. HBO Scientology Documentary
by tresdecu inhas anyone else seen the hbo scientology documentary 'going clear' - wow...cults are just mind-blowing you wonder how people can fall for that garbage, then you (those of us former/fading jws) look in the mirror.. i would love for someone to make a major jw documentary like this.
'going clear' is getting a lot of press.
poor tom cruise...he looks like quite the whack job in it too.

This documentary was great. Very informative. It would be good for any ex-JW to watch to see the comparisons to the JW cult. The mind control is very similar. If any of you get a chance to watch " Going Clear " on you tube exposing the injustices of Scientology I highly recommend it -

WT leaders need to get their financial balls broke. I hope Zalkin appeals this decision and goes on to get a victory for these young abuse victims. WT leaders are nothing but arrogant, pompous a-holes
