  I will never be embarrassed...I was one because I fully believed in it, so I lived it.

  I dont any more because when I decided to do my own soul searching, and looking around the "world" I came to a different view.

  I may not believe the religion...but I live the way I believe now.

  That is the best thing that my mother taught me. She has always LIVED her beliefs...as long as I am sincere in what I do, I will never be ashamed of who I was..maybe some of the things I did, hahah...but not of having been a JW.

  I dont think there is any reason anyone should be ashamed of being a JW if they were baptised because they really thought it was the right thing to do.

  How many Official web sites does the Watchtower have?

  i always thought that they only had www.watchtower.org but i found this one also http://www.jw-media.org/index.html.

  can witnesses look at both, or is one an apostate site?.

  i read an article on jehovah witnesses and child protection on that site.. have a look at it... http://www.jw-media.org/newsroom/index.htm?content=background.htm .

  a person i know, has a child, who is barely a teenager.

  he just gave a talk in the hall, and guess what the topic was?.

  i can understand a bible reading at that age, etc.

  an operation called a hemispherectomy was performed without blood because of the objections of his j.w.

  Well, the kid isnt going to need his brain too much in the borg..but I am glad he made it through without blood...the guilt could have been very hard for him.

  when I had my second child, I lost a pretty good amount of blood and was told that needing blood was a possibility. It did not come to that, but it was the first time in my life I had to seriously think about it. I thought....damn my kids need me..I will take it!

  I just would not tell my JW family hahaah

  Kingdom Hall being sold to church

  ok, maybe not a real scandal, but this really bugs the hell out of me!

  in short, the kingdom hall i went to as child and teen, is being sold to a church.

  my mother (still active) informed me of this.

  when we built our hall, the older one became a well child clinic...but THEN hahaha a few years later and it became a baptist church
