very interesting.
espically the end.
has anyone else seen this? i don't know if it's been discussed, but, i just got to watch it. very interesting. espically the end.
crap, missanna is watching a movie. can you tell me what it's called so i can look for it.
some of you may have seen my post in jedi masters topic but if you haven't i will re-post it here:.
i'm new to the site, my wife and i are are doing the fade we still have a son and daughter-in-law who are still in so we don't want to get hung.
i was an elder for 25 years and was removed because i didn't agree with the gb on an important issue and spoke privately and with trust to another elder who broke that trust and told the other elders and co about my disagreement.
welcome, and congratulations. i hope everything works out for you.
i was talking to another poster about how we have to hide, and sneak around like little kids. it really sucks. i hope you can help your family out.
i have found some evidence, mostly anecdotal, to indicate that the equinoxes can be times of extreme mood change, due to the accelerated changes from light to darkness.
if one is diagnosed as bi-polar, the equinoxes may exacerbate the condition.
any thoughts?
i definately think that weather patterns, and equinoxes, and solstices, and many other things affect mood, childbirth, and other things we are unaware of.
i remember being a kid and we didnt have the fancy fabric seats, they were plastic stackable chairs all set out in the usual lines.. an elderly bro, rather rotund, farted, the noise so loud and thundering against the plastic seat!
or the time when i must have been about 7, my dad brought his bible study family to their first ever meeting, i had to sit on mums knee.
i recall giving the daughter of the new family a very vigorous v sign during the meeting.
i was at an assembly during lunch break. my buddies little brother was eating a ham sandwich, and sneezed. ham flew into the guys hair in front of us. i almost peed myself i laughed so hard.
we were taught by the borg that death is the result of sin.
however, notice what the genesis account says:.
22 and jehovah god went on to say: "here the man has become like one of us in knowing good and bad, and now in order that he may not put his hand out and actually take [fruit] also from the tree of life and eat and live to time indefinite," 23 with that jehovah god put him out of the garden of e den to cultivate the ground from which he had been taken.
Think about this, if I put a gun on my childs dresser and told him not to touch it, would I be a good parent? No a loving father would not put it there to begin with. For all intent and purpose Adam and Eve were children (even though adult) inocent and inexperianced. If you believe the Genesis account I can't see how you say god is a loving father.
my point excately.

but, that DESIRE to sin would HAVE to be in them. otherwise, it would have never happened.

But look at it from God's viewpoint he gave them life & everything they needed to sustain it and all he asked for in return was their obedience but they couldn't even do that.
i understand that man. but, he made them with that flaw. if it wasn't in them to begin with, they never would have sinned. to me, it's like a computer programmer. he writes a program. then, when the computer does excately what it was programmed to do, he gets pissed off and smashes it. see what i mean? it makes no sense.
and if you say, well, he was testing them. that is crazy to me. why do that? if you have a wife that you know loves you, do you put her love to the test by throwing obstacles at her? no, that is un-loving. why put them through all that?

and if these two individuals were supposed to be perfect then they have no excuse for their error
no offense man, but, this kind of statement always drove me nuts. perfection means flawless. if you are of perfect mind and body, you will never make a mistake. what is the biblical definition of perfect? what of angels? if they are also "perfect" why do we supposedly have satan and demons? if the story is based in fact, we are missing some valuable information.
