That answer has to be yes if one has read the bible without the aid of ... an aid.

This is the most active ex-JW forum, Jehovah's Witnesses Online is the other big one, that used to be my main one, but I actually prefer this one now, I use to consider it the wuzzy baby one that censored stuff, I realised after posting my drunk assembly thread and it was deleted and people here got all flustered, completely different reaction on JWO.
The other ones aren't worth the time.

Have you ever seen proof of Jehovah that could not be explained by something else?

Did the word "persecution" scare you as a kid?
by journey-on ini remember imagining being tied up and my fingernails pulled out one by one and somebody screaming at me to denounce jehovah?
anybody else go through this?

The Great Tribulation (TM) weighed heavily on my mind often, how we were taught to expect worse treatment than the JWs in the holocaust, always wondering if I would be strong enough to bear it.
This is mental rape.

My friendss....
by ajws inmy friends.... you are misguided.
i do not mean to attack you, but i have a vew issues i would like to discuss.. first off... .
witnesses the bible says that man cannot even comprehend heaven... how would anyone know that 144,000 people will live in heaven when the old testament says in the first book genesis and got parted the waters from the world and the heaven so earths population is almost 4 billion people... how is only 144,000 people... or as i guess 144000 godlike beings going to inhabit a world as big as that ... which brings me to the next point 144000 godlike beings f they are godlike then there are 144,001 gods which is polytheistic.

What will be the reaction in the congregation when...
by JH inwe have many older brothers and sisters in our congregation, and surely the same in many congregations all around the world.. what will be the reaction in the congregations when all these older ones, who were sure they wouldn't die before the end, pass away and leave a vacuum in the congregation.. i don't wish these older brothers and sisters harm, but eventually they will be too old to follow and they will die away.. it won't be the same anymore, when they see these old pillars who stood so faithfully crumble due to old age.. .

The last congregation of many I was in was one full of elderly ones. In the few years I was there, there was without a word of a lie a funeral pretty much every other month. The congregation went from about 110 pubs to about 79 when I left, even with a good influx of new ones! However, when I got there in 2001, there was about 10 teenager, when I left there were 2 left, one just getting old enough to be considered a teenager, all others had left the trooof. By the way, both of those left are only in temperarily. They are a bro and sis, the bro was my best friend who I haven't heard anything from since I was going to kill myself back in September, his sister is the two faced one I mentioned back in the summer, they are both biding their time until they are on their own.

by sweetface2233 inladies, how many of you have had this happen?
your cell phone is stashed in your purse and it starts ringing.
you plunge your hand in, hoping to grab it and begin the call.

Mincan - Guys just need cash and a condom. All of that fits neatly into a folding wallet. What are you carrying?
Great, someone stuck in gender roles...
Well let's see, on a typical commute to anywhere I [could] need: wallet, keys, cell phone, iPod, pen, notepad, chap stick, pill box, and oh yea if I was planning on getting laid a condom. I don't usually carry one on me though... should I?
These things don't fit in the wallet, as you see they are distinct entities from the wallet. These things also don't fit too comfortably in jean pockets, so sometimes in the summer I wear cargo khakis, but seriously, I don't like wearing those very often, especially hauling tons o' shizza in 'em.
What you got against a shoulder mounted HAVERSACK. Man, we got to take back the haversack, the accessory of real men everywhere for 300 years. Infantry used/use them as they are practicle. I guess that's what it comes down to, fashion over practicality, they used to be one and the same. Indiana Jones had one, and no one's callin him a wussie man are they? NO

Got the new WT Video last night....so we edited it :) ENJOY
by iblowmynoseatyou inthe new video "pursue goals that honor god" was given to me last night at the hall.
it encourages young people to pursue spiritual goals, and not waste their time on foolish endeavors such as riches or education.
well, at least it used to have that message, until we had our way with it :) .

You should do this to the other Young People Ask movies... especially the one where the dude turns down the scholarship to pioneer. Theres those scenes with him and the old geezer which would be freakin hilarious, plus he dies in the end so it would seem tragic and funny none-the-less!!!!!
