The new video "Pursue Goals that Honor God" was given to me last night at the hall. It encourages young people to pursue spiritual goals, and not waste their time on foolish endeavors such as riches or education.
Well, at least it used to have that message, until we had our way with it :)

The guy in the beard is one of two twins at Bethel, Seth or Josh Ortin. I had Josh on my Operating Committee at my Hall. So yup, its real.

So...how does this work in the pre-edited version? They take biblical characters and then make up a story line about them to push their own agenda? Are we supposed to think that this is how it actually happened in biblical times? Is it to be viewed as authoritative? Wouldn't this be considered adding to the Scriptures, if not in words then at least in intent?

This looks like the drama from a couple of years ago. Same lame story, same lame extrapolation of one verse in Acts.
Some may remember that I posted some video of that drama on this website back then (the link is broken now, sorry!)
The (over and under) acting is about the same. Still looks like a miserable way to spend an hour, when all you really want to do is watch the Twin Peaks Gold Box edition, instead.

Look at the sets and the costume design, they spent at the least thousands producing that video. Maybe one should ask "in this time of the end when we need to focus on preaching and getting the good news out, why are we wasting funds producing such a video"; I'd add especially when it is so horrible. They should invest the money from their next video to go towards acting school, after all if they were really good witnesses they were never in after school plays to even get an inkling of what acting is about.
