  well, as anyone on this board knows i"m a newbie....and witnesses kind of are scaring me with their "end is coming" business.

  There will be an end to this earth someday. It wont be caused by some supreme being. Possibly a cataclismic event, but more likely by man himself. For those who fear an end, fear death, they have god and the prospect of paradise to comfort them.

  Do you like being a parent or grandparent better?

  i would have never thought that i would like being grandfather but i enjoy it more than being a parent, anyone else feel the same way?.

  oh, by the way, my darlings are my new avatar, it is so fun being a grandfather and seeing the next generation come along, anyone else feel this way?.

  I like being a grandfather better. My son has a boy and a girl that I can see when I want to. I raised five children who have been on thier own for ten years. Three were stepchildren and each of them have a child. They are not underfoot all of the time. No diapers and no tied down feeling.

  at the first convention/ assembly following your wedding ... did you parade around the convention site gloating in other sisters' faces, showing off your new husband?

  i've never done it, but i can't help but suspect that others do.

  Way to go 5go.

  There was a young lady that I liked, being fluanted by her husband. No one was interested in him. They split and both were df'd in less than ten years. Neither made good marriage material and both have been single for 20 years.

  i've always thought about putting together a vacation package for just ex-jw's.

  if say, one was put together to stay several days at a place like the acapulco princess hotel in mexico, or the rose hall hotel in jamaica with lunches, dinners and entertainment all included and swiming pools galore would you come?

  maybe a package that includes airfare and everything for $1500 or so per person!.

  if you are going out with friends or just to work tomorrow get a packet of lime koolaid (lime jello works too).

  don't wear any green but put a pinch of the powder on your tongue to make it bright green.

  when challenged about the lack of green just stick out your tongue and tell them you just ate a leprechaun..

  it's been a long time since i was in the 'truth' .

  took a long long time to rehabilitate and among one of the things i had to do was learn to make friends.

  anyway, maybe will make more friends here, time will tell .

  the ghost hunters are coming to set up their cams, and voice recorders and such.

  they pretty much rule out as much as they can before even considering it paranormal........which is good.

  they already commented on two of my videos......ruling them out lol.
