  leavingwt and moshe: These are questions I've pondered since I was 12 years old. And I still got baptized at 13!

  I also wondered why Adam and Eve had to die with no hope of a resurection. How can god blame them for failing his test? They were supossed to believe blindly whatever God said? As kids we tested our parents always doing what they told us not to do. That is how children grow and learn. Our parents never stopped loving us or gave up on us.

  I know this point has been made before but couldn't it be argued that god's creation (Adam & Eve) was faulty? Why shouldn't they be forgiven for their sins?

  I admit that the bible has a lot of practical advice for day to day living but many, if not all, stories can be blown out of the water with a little bit of critical thinking.

  Generation teaching - conversation I just had with my dad.

  so, went to the dc 2 days this weekend.

  still have lots of family in and had to put in a cameo for family who had parts on the program and drama.

  i left after the drama today and just spoke with my dad who is inactive and supposedly enlightened about all things jw.

  CC, sounds like conversations I've had with my Dad and other family members. Sometimes I think they are better off believing all the hokus pokus stuff. It is scary to think how they would react if they did have to face the honest truth.

  I still don't know what this new change is. Would someone please direct me to a thread that has the WT info? Is is in a new WT?

  It's seems kind of sad to me that at such an old age, nearing the end of your life, you realize the WT has all been a lie. I think I'd rather die believing than feeling like I wasted my life.

  Ray Franz Passed Away Today

  i just received word that ray franz passed away today at 1:37 pm eastern daylight time.

  the cause of death is stated as head trauma, likely due to falling to the ground, and a stroke could have also been part of the cause or a result of the fall.

  he died at emory university hospital in atlanta about 17 minutes after being taken off life support.

  I don't get why he apologized to anyone with the exception of his family.

  I have no idea if this is going to help him or not. He seems to have pissed off the media and for that I say "Go Tiger!"
