assemblies used to go for 5 days which caused problems for brothers with work so....it was changed to thursday to sunday......then half of thursday to sunday.....then 3 days only.

does anyone remember this....i remember 3 and a half days.

I remember in the 80's going to one that had a half day, I don't remember much about the assembly itself, but I do remember going to the national zoo either on the half day or the day before.

I want to say it was 4 1/2 days.

president-elect obama will never take office.. bush will extend his term until "the problem" can be resolved.. violence will erupt within the usa due to "this problem".

We had a strong La Nina this year, and we're at solar minimum, but the 2008 temp still managed to be ~.5 C above normal. Over 95% of the world's glaciers are retreating, the northwest passage was open for the second year in a row, the only two times in recorded history. Migratory patterns of animals continue to change, and the oceans continue to acidify due to increased co2 intake. But hey it's winter, global warming is over, huzzah!

have posted this on the other thread but just making this one as well:

i need to let you know that dad passed away this morning at 8am.

he fought so hard but in the end they could not get his blood pressure to rise and he died of heart failure.
