Quantum Universe
by undercover inan acquaintance was telling me about how there have been some new discoveries in quantum mechanics and that "everything we know is going to change", his words.
he said that these top scientists and physicists have already met with the world's top religious leaders and explained to them what they have discovered and how it will change everyone's perception about reality.. i'm not all that informed on quantum mechanics and all that scientific mumbo-jumbo other than to know that some people believe that there are parallel universes and that it might be possible(?
) that we exist in different universes at the same time.. from what this guy was telling me, i gathered (i think) that reality and our perception of reality is based on nothing tangible except information.

I always liked the onion, but recently their articles haven't seemed as funny.
Here's a good and prophetic one from 2001 Bush: 'Our Long National Nightmare Of Peace And Prosperity Is Finally Over'
Edit: To be fair here's one about Gore :)

Mazda3 hatchback, while not AWD it would be something to look at. Edit: Maybe a Mazda6 too, but I don't know the prices in CAD. I think the Mazda Speed 3 & 6 are AWD, but not very economical.

The Kingdumb Melodies
by WTWizard inone of the things i find distasteful is what the witnesses' taste for music is.
they have the same 225 songs that they had since 1984. and many of those were carried from the previous book.. what i noticed while i was there is that none of the songs are really music.
they are so poorly written and performed that i think whoever was in charge of it just threw it together.

I was old enough to remember the switch from the pink to gold songbooks, and it was terrible. Even years later people just never got into singing some of those songs in the gold book. I'll admit I enjoyed singing some of the songs, mostly the ones that were carried over from the old book that actually had a melody.

Jehovah Provides Grubs on a Hot Rock for His Faithful in Africa!!!
by uwishufish indid any one see the picture of the african man, in native attire, eating grubs ( worms ) for his meal and acting blessed in one of the may jw mags?
.
my dog would not even eat these and she licks her own but.. i think the next issue should depict a texan in native dress eating a 2 inch thick t-bone or a new englander dining on a 6 pound lobster.. .
