I've always wore jeans as casual wear. I wouldn't know what else to wear.
So let's say you need to spend some time working outside, or just not being fancy. What do you wear in the lands across the pond?
tell me what jeans mean to you?
your first pair?
your favourite pair?

well, a few weeks ago, my daughter's boyfriend informed her of what her kidneys are for and that she has two.
she really did not know.. this evening over dinner (a big, juicy freaking prime rib) i mentioned that i was eating an unhealthy portion.
i explained that a healthy portion is not a plateful of whatever it is - as he and i were brought up to believe.
I remember in 6th grade home economics the teacher announced we are all getting a serving of ice cream! I was disappointed to see how little a serving was.
so, from what i remember,...after armageddon, those righteous jw's who make it through will have to clean up the utter devestation.
imagine 9/11 on a world-wide scale.
they also (from what i remember) will not be miraculously perfect right away.
I think "Trust in Jehovah" would be the standard answer for all those questions.
one of my old co-workers sent this to me.
the sad thing is that i have had this happen to me in service before.
oh, those were the days.

We can't see what's on your harddrive. :(
i started making a list of what we really know about jehovah from the bible.
see if you can add to the list.. 1. likes to take afternoon walks, especially when it's breezy.. 2. likes the smell of roasting animals.. 3. likes dancing and singing but doesn't necessarily dance and sing himself.. 4. can write a little bit, though only with one finger.
usually gets humans to write for him instead.. 5. seems to like cheap magic tricks, like talking donkeys and magic burning bushes.. 6. always resorts to violence to solve problems instead of dialogue or diplomacy.. 7. he can reproduce asexually.. 8. he likes to be called father and he has sons, but his "wife" is a group of sexless spirits, who are also his sons.. any more??.
9. Poor decision maker - He'd rather have people going door to door than the rock and the trees crying his name. I think that talking rocks and trees would win more converts, plus there's a lot more rocks than people.
there are probably alot of us using the small spiral shaped compact fluorescent lamps in our houses.
i did not realize they have mercury in them and can be a bit of problem if one breaks.
it is also illegal to dispose of them in our regular garbage cans.
I've had one in a table lamp for several years now and it's still going strong. CFs release less mercury into the environment than an incandescent bulb if you get your electricity from a coal plant. Coal fired power plants are the biggest source of mercury as a pollutant.

"for, behold, i create new heavens and a new earth..." -- isa.
found 20 light years away: the new earth.
I was reading up on this yesterday, and life seems unlikely there. Most red dwarf stars like this one are flare stars, and any life on this planet would've been fried, plus for the planet to be in the habitable zone of a red dwarf it has to be so close that it would likely become tidally locked with the star; that is its rotation would match it's orbit so that one side of the planet would be facing the star at all times. Based on our current knowledge life on this planet would be unlikely, but there's lots of weird stuff out there.
i love frou frou, but the men in my house can't stand her!.
i also love cheryl crow, norah jones, enya and old joni mitchell.
there are more but will leave it to others to list!.
think you are the first guy to post your favorite girls! You mean no other guys were willing to admit they had female artist that they loved? Which has brought me to a possible new topic for discussion. Why can women listen to men who swoon them with song, but men are regarded as slightly less than manly, if they have a bunch of females in thier repertoire of music? Hmmmmmmmmmm?
I posted one on the first page.
i am terrible at names for animals.
i had a dog once and named him pup.
our female cats name is kitty.. i had a parrotlet once and never named it.. just said hey bird or birdie!.
I don't know why, but Ringo comes to mind.
