Purps, we adopted a wild African Grey Parrot. His name was Doobie.

He turned his own name into Doobie Doobie Doo and yes he was a "love" bird of a different sort.

He would shout the above and then demand a kiss......no one could resist.

    IPPY,

Dont know the gender......drive by on that bike and if its a she........she will hop on the back!!!

    restrangled,

I have been bitten two times by two different African Greys.........It's lke they attack me. I was working at a pet store with my daughter.......and the one, as I was walking by, lunged out of its cage and took a nice chunk out of my hand.

The pet owner after the second time said I must have some chemical they dont like.

I love RedLorikeets and hope to have one some day

    or a nice white cockatoo.

    purps

I had a cat once that I named Spot.

I think a nice name for your bird would be "Lovey"

You need to name it something it can say. Our Cockatiel talks up a storm. The easiest words start with B---H---J---S---K---G-- Hardest that I can think of is T and O.

Our cockatiel is over 2, and we still are not completely sure what it is. We say she, but I think he is more appropriate, by what I observe it doing in the cage sometimes. Even in the bird world, Men still just wanna have fun.
