ever since i been on here, posting, and whatnot, i have been even more enlightened, if that's the correct word.
she basically is telling me that I am immature and a hypocrite because "I promised to do his will and I dedicated my life to Jehovah."
Tell her that if you married a person who you discovered was a child molester or pathological liar you would every right to leave /divorce. It would not mean you did not believe in marriage —it would just mean that you don’t believe you have to be bound to a lying monster for the rest of your life
And,Of course, you don’t have to “remarry” at all.🙃😳❤️💤

When I left the organization it was when I heard myself telling PO and a brother that I used to respect:

im seeing my solicitor tomorrow to see about getting an order in place making sure any contact my daughter has with my jw family goes through me and not my ex-wife.. explained the situation briefly to the lawyer, she was asking more and more about why should i be concerned if a jw had access to my child.. i mentioned the blood issue, the shunning, the inappropriate pictures of armageddon in books/mags etc.
do you think i should bring in watchtower literature to show them what i mean?

it all started over month ago when she gave her yearly talk on what is a cult at our local uu congregation.
their was several newcomers in the audience who have recently left the high control cults.
Great thing to do.
l used to imagine in the days following my departure that l returned to door-knocking to un-do my previous efforts.
In my mind : l would begin by apologizing for my past visits. Then spell out the wrongs, the spiritual aggressions l had perpetrated when last at their door. And in addition l would express the harms that l realized personally my cult was part of. I would encourage them to evade capture.
I am a survivor and l have found by being in fact open with myself and others l have become freer. I am sorry for the impact of my religious zeal on others but l was also captive.
maybe if people actually play act st this they can get some relief?
