in another thread truthseeker revealed that the wts is quietly gathering and burning as many of the old russell and rutherford books and magazines it can get its hands on in order to hide the hill of bones on which its present-day existence was built.
in addition to this effort to hide its sordid past, the wts also warns its followers to immediately dismiss apostate evidence derived from the internet.
i remember thirdwitness challenging posters to "produce" the letter that proved the wts was in cahoots with the u.n. it's so very convenient for jws to ignore "virtual" information because it's difficult to substantiate with original sources.
I think it would be a great idea, it would educate people more on what the JWs have done and what they believe in before they came knocking on the door. I think more people than just JWs and x-JWs would be interested, for example anyone that is interested in the bib or religion, and it would give them valuable information to tell any JW they know.
One question though, who would fund this and where would it be located?

my g-daughter and i were in the video store this morning.
[she was out of school with a cough and fever - they won't let her back for 24 hours].. as we prepared to check out in comes sister rita righteous.
actually i jest here - rita has been df'd three times as a fornicatrix, married out of the 'truth' to a drug dealer, has raised three children who never accepted the religion, and has never, in my 35 years of her acquaintance been 'spiritually minded' or 'active in the service'.. anyway - i am freshly announced as 'no longer one of jehovah's witnesses', and apparently she has heard.
WOW. Anyway - I have a 'no shunning policy' on the books. Those that violate it get embarrassed in public along with their religion.

yeah i do know what its for now, but i was wondering if it was meant to be for that in the begining, or if it was originaly made for active JWs or people interested in the religion? it seems as if it couldve changed from a active JW forum to an active apostate forum, know what i mean? maybe i should ask Simon this question.

ive noticed even from the begining of this forum it seems to have been apostate, but is that what its purpose was? or was it made for anything JW related to be discussed? and then maybe the forum creator realised what a load of crap the JWs were, and it took a turn to the apostate side?

maybe i was just an uber-witness loser (i took the religion very seriously when i was in it).. a friend is trying to get me to go triple dating with some of her friends and this chick i'm diggin.
the setting is this dashboard confessional's concert.. but i've never been to a concert, so i was wondering what the hell are you supposed to do?

ok, your going to a concert, if this was me id be going to a rave (no i dont do drugs, i just love the music), rave/concert, whatever, i just have a few drinks, start to feel the music, you'll know what to do from there on in, but if you dont, i guess just bop around to the music, and have fun.
Usualy concerts are fairly full so even if you cant dance for sh!t no one will be able to see because it will be packed, so just move around, about after 5 minutes youll get comfortable with dancing and youll be set from there on in.

was just browsing on ebay out of sheer boredom and typed in 'jehovahs witnesses' .one of the things i spotted was a no blood keyring for children, asking for their parents to be contacted, apparently from an ebay shop a pioneer couple run.
this made me feel really sick, fair enough to carry one if your'e an adult, but children?
that is disgusting, it really shows you how people can be brainwashed into thinking almost anything is alright.
