For believers: Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?
by lovelylil inwhile thinking about this bible verse today taken from matthew 18, i began seeing a correlation to our time and the trend among christian churches.
there are several that i am sure we can name that make claims such as "we are the only true church" or "we are the only true christians" or even that "no one can see the truth unless they are in contact with our church to teach it".
and these ones judge others by placing everyone outside their group in "spiritual darkness".. isn't this the same thing as jesus' early disciples asking "who is the greatest in the kingdom?

Do you get stressed talking to JWs?
by jwfacts ini am a salesman, so will talk to anyone, anytime without fear.
but for some reason, everytime i need to speak to a jw i get a huge rush of nerves.. i also am an accountant and do tax returns, and this year lost most of my jw clients.
some went to another accountant in the congregation.

It was not hard here. My dad an Elder for years and I followed his step to the tee, We only told a few Elder friends and dad was DF'd I had all my privileges removed and have since left the BORG.
Your Elders must be more in the know than they are here.

I've committed murder!!!

need help
by jem12 ini was raised in the truth but was not baptized.my wife is and enjoys going out in service but i have found out from her twin sister that while i was away in alberta working she was cheating with a brother from her hall.after coming back and finding out about this and her telling me her sister is lying i found photos of them at dinners bowling and so forth, also i found nude photos of her and after me talking with her and her lying about them that her sister took the photos the truth finally came out it was a man she met from her work that took them,this is a christen women who fears jehovah why would a person with such strong love for her religon do this.after me finding these things out she kicked me out of our house.... please help me find an answer.. because deep down i still love her..

Some posters need the power they feel when they put others down it make them feel smart feel big. Remember they can not hurt you it is only words. With that said I will take to task anyone that get nasty too others on this board and will let them know they are out of line. I PM others that have been victims of the nasty posters and let them know I care what they have to say. I had a thread on 911 on this thread I had two posters that got very nasty too me with their remarks I will never forget who these two posters are. One of the posters after battling PMed me and gave me a genuine apology and said he had too quit the board for a while because the board was no longer challenging for him, he apologized too me for his post and has since not posted even once The other poster him and I will be posting buddies on the board, he has gotten the picture he needs to be nicer to others and I hope he like challenges because this winter when I am off work I am going to have some fun with him.

My business partner is not nut job his wife dresses covered skin from the neck to her ankles at all times. I went swimming with his family and he wore nothing but a pair of cut off and his wife and his two daughters had dresses and long Johns on.
Back to the question religious people I have no need for them I feel very sorry that htey have been mislead. I have a hard time tolerating them.

Disfellowshipped for celebrating halloween?
by Dune inso i went partying on halloween in my costume.
it was fun, had a great time, all that good stuff.. however, i'm on a peer network thing kind of like myspace but its only for college students, however, anyone who goes to my page can see that i have like 3 pictures of myself in my costume.
so i was wondering, if a witness went onto my page and got those pictures could they use that as ammo to have me disfellowshipped?
