Happened here at a neighboring town and the brother and sister were reassigned between neighboring Halls. What made it bad in the late 90's the congregation was owned by a local brother and the Society asked him to sing the ownership over too them. He did as he was asked because he was a faithful. Then four years ago the Society came in and closed the doors, they sold the Hall kept the money, gave nothing to the original owner they swindled the property form. This caused a local crises. the Elder that use to owned the Hall has quit and several other family's have done the same.

As soon as they can he will be DF'd I guarantee it./

In Hope of Helping a Dub become Ex-Dub

when you take the opportunity to help a dub and show them flaws in the religion - hoping that maybe you can free them, what is your motive?.

i find that although my main motive (i think) is to free them for their sake, the thought of having an ex-jw i can talk to and would understand me that way, would help a lot..... do you do it for those two reasons alone?

i do it for the main reason but the second often crosses my mind..

I have taken out most of my friends and several family members out of the board several of which were Elders. The witnesses have a terrible problem they think the TROOF can stand up to anything questioning, I take advantage of this, In time my olde friends approached me and asked why I quit going to the meetings. The first thing I do when this happens is show them the letter from the Society about the NGO's this opens their mind. Then for the Coup deville I show them my blood research the blood research really works because it is all from the bible and my research totally to the person that has looked at it has proven even the most adherent JW wrong. Then I give them space and time, before long they are out and asking me how they can help others out.

OH hay back to your question I do this because I want them to be free with the added bonus that they then will associate with me.

i don't know where to begin to say what is all bottled up inside me.

i may need to be on another forum, but i have come to respect the posts and input of so many here, and trust.....so it may be jumbled, and may take starting a few topics to fully get it out.. i have already posted about my youngest brother committing suicide.

i have another brother also.. my mother divorced my father i am guessing when i was five or six.

I thought my wife's family was screwed up. Yours has to be the most dysfunctional I have ever heard of. But it does sound a lot like my wife's family. Her mom had many affairs and kids came from this affairs. The kids never knew they were not from the dad they grew up with. Now the kids have found out they have step brothers and sister they never knew and have been trying to find the dads and family they never knew.

Have some consolation there are other family like yours out in the cold world. like your mom everyone thinks my wife's mom is a good JW. Boy does she have them fooled. I hope you have someone in your life like myself, that truly loves you, and with just a look you know they love you. This is what I do for my wife I love her and listen to her when all of this gets her down.

I hope you can find forgiveness for your mom. My wife truly forgives her mom, but some of her brother and sisters do not forgive, but hate HER, this makes for a very dysfunctional family unit.

You are getting a big huge from me. Chin up here I come with my arms open and a warm heart that cares.

Blood issue, I finally got it

What I posted above made me stop and realizes that the DUBS were partly correct. Yes for the Nation of Israel under normal times it was wrong to eat blood but if ones life was at stake then you eat the dead animal to save your life. But this stupid law was only for the Nation because you could sell a unbled animal to a non-Israelite.

My baby daughter needed a transfusion and the State of Washington took legal action against me and State Law allowed this for protection of a minor. Thank God for the State because my girl is now 12years old and happy. I would have let her die when I was a Drone.

There were two different laws on blood the one given to all mankind and that given to the Nation of Israel.

At Duet. 14:21 it states "You must not eat any body [already] dead. To the alien resident you may give it, and he must eat it; or there may be a selling of it to a foreigner." There in Israel’s mist was the man of the nations,

this foreigner represented the rest of mankind that Jehovah gave the command to at Gen: 9:4.

at Lev. 17:15 read "As for any soul that eats a body [already] dead or something torn by a wild beast, whether a native or a alien resident, he must in that case wash his garments and bathe in water and be unclean until evening; and he must be clean." Here God say’s even the NATIVE could eat an animal that he personally did not kill and he knew that this animal had not been bled, and not be in violation of god’s law on blood. {A native, is a person that was clearly under the Mosaic Law and bound by it} How can this be?

Here it states a native{person under the Mosaic Law} could eat an animal not bled and not be put to death. Why? His only sin is one of touching a dead animal and then he became unclean. He did not violate God’s law on blood here or Jehovah would have put the sinner to death. His only sin here was one of touching a dead animal. {The Law’s requirement for touching a dead animal is he became unclean by the act of touching a dead body}. Since he touched a dead body he was unclean until evening and he had to wash in water. At Lev. 17:15 Think about this example, Jehovah gave Israel away out of death. If there was a famine in the land or drought… and one happened upon a dead animal, the eating of that animal could literally have meant saving the life of that person and his family.

My oldest son found me this morning!!!

i've looked for him for 16 yrs.

and he found me this morning.

:) there are 8 and my oldest son has the only two g/sons that i have.. we were lost to each other before i left the wts, because when i lived in california and he lived in colorado springs, we both moved at the same time and we each had unlisted numbers.. i'm very, very pleased and excited.

i was wonderin' how you guys see the conspiracy of the trade center demolition and the attack on the pentagon?

it has been well established now some years later that there must have been detonation devices lining the elevator shafts of the three trade towers that collapsed.

after 1 and 2 fell, no one really ever questioned the way that 3rd one fell in the same manner (pancake collapse style, as a controlled demolition goes).

Leolaia I just noticed your link to the video of building seven. I noticed a lot of dark smoke. Did you know a cold oxygen starved fire is what we see here. Not a red hot almost smoke free which is indicative of a hot fire, certainly not even remotely close to the heat needed to melt the metal frame. Correct my please if I am wrong.

All I did is a Google search for the South side and this is the picture that came up under google search for damage to south side of tower seven. Maybe you could post the correct photo for all of us to see. Everything I said is correct the building did not fall to the south side it fell inward.
