  I don't know how I feel...

  so, i got a call from my jw sis yesterday telling me that my grandpa had a stroke and is in the hospital.

  gramps is big-brother-by-the-book-jw.

  i have talked to him a handful of times since i was 18. when i was depressed and went to the hospital/therapy etc..he told me to stop being foolish and all i needed to do was pray and go in service more.

  I get free food

  i apparently turn on fast food employees so much so that i get free food frequently.

  today i went to fazoli's to get food for myself and 2 co-workers.

  the guy at the drive thru window thought i was hot and gave me all my food for free - no joke!

  I think most people in the "truth" developed a feeling of inadequacy. You know what it feels like not to be looked at as someone who fits the standard or above that standard.

  What "restrangled" may have been put off by was your comment on the guy who acted in a kind way towards you! Since being out for a while I try to look past what is on the outside and see what is on the inside.

  Congratulations on your new found confidence, being in a relationship where your mate doesn't make you feel special is very damaging!

  Friendship gone, cause of questions...

  well i wont go into huge detail, but i had a friend of mine that was 16 years older than me, really close friend and actually i considered him a brother.

  i went to meetings and book studies with him for many many years and he wanted me to become a jw.

  my family being christian was mad that i was attending meetings and learning their doctrine.

  A Warning to Bush and Blair!

  my understanding is that both bush and blair are 'christians' and the worst kind as well, the ones who claim to be practicing christians.. one day, like all of us they will die.

  they expect to meet their maker, god and expect to give an accounting.. what can they say to redeem themselves?.

  by their actions and more importantly 'inactions' as of late, they may hear the unfortunate words: 'you're going down!'.

  On some levels I agree with you.....but where are you getting your facts on the millions of deaths caused by the Iraq war?????

  Deaths to date

  Civilian = 43,269 to 48,046 most of these were killed by religious radicals

  US troops = 2,689

  Coalition troops = 232

  Please don't ruin a good arguement with an over exaggeration of facts!!
