doubtless many of us have been to assemblies, and every may the km would come out with an insert about what you were expected to do and how to act.. reviewing the km's over the years , you can see the negative positve "councel".

how to dress, how to act, howt to tip!.

after reading this, doesn't it just want to make you run to attend the next d.c. ?

A letter to my mom..re: Fifth Estate

well i did it...i sent my mom the following lwetter.

i hope i wasn't too hateful and i was hoping to get some feedback from you all and have you done the same and with what results?.

dearest mother, i hope that my letter finds you well.

I am very understanding of your frustrations as my mom as well is still "in". I was actually thinking of writing her a letter as well because we argued about the 5th Estate show when I called her to tell her about the show. She says that the apostates put a "bad spin" on everything and for me to not believe the things I read and hear becasue there are evil apostates behind it all. I think that your letter gets to the point without trying to seem like your "rubbing it in her face", which is what I've been trying to avoid doing with my own mom.

Good luck Valis.....hopefully she will see the true light, keep us posted on her reaction.

they confronted the elder who served in his investigation who said he would not talk on camera but instead sent a letter that said since mike was 17 when he came to them they did not have to report.

Celia, I'd have to agree with you. Working in the hospitalty business for many years, I always found that europeans (including french) were ALOT more courteous and accomodating than the americans. Edmonton recently hosted the World Athletic Championships in 2001 and we had people from many countries from around the world staying at our hotel, and the least courteous were the americans.

My emotions are so mixed right now...sadness, anger, frustration, sympathy for the victims......

I am just hoping and praying that my mother is watching.......

the watchtower used to tell us that young ones should get to know the older members of the congregation because of their spiritual wisdom.

i've found out that the same sort of principle applies to apostates.

get to know the elderly ones, because they have all sorts of great dirt on the watchtower!.

What do you expect after Fifth Estate program

with all the publicity around the fifth estate program being shown tomorrow night on cbc, do you think this will make a big impact in the general public?edited by - jh on 29 january 2003 6:44:36.

I would love for my mother to call me and say that she believes what is being said...But realistically she's already told me that the apostates put a "spin" on everything, including the media and the internet. So I expect that IF she does call after, she will tell me that it's a lie and the evil apostates are up to something AGAIN!

For the rest of us that have had to deal with this issue directly...I'm hoping that it will give them a sense of hope, that there is life after the WTS and that there IS a way out.

Does anyone know if they will post Silentlambs web or phone for those to each out???

I'm hoping that the WTS will realize that victims are not to be messed with because we will come back and kick some ass!!!!!!!!
