if you went to someones house as a guest and they asked you to take your shoes off..would you?..would you be offended?....
does anyone know if this is proper etiquette?.
didn't know where else to post this........ my daughter was invited to a neighbors house and they requested people remove their shoes!...she never had anyone ask her that before.
When visiting someone, I always take my shoes off. If the person I'm visiting says "No, it's all right leave your shoes on..." then I do. I expect the same of my guests as well, but I have never had someone just leave their shoes on and walk around my house. (probably because I wouldn't let them get that far )
I think it's just a common courtesy that I was raised with, and I expect most of the people I know in my life are the same...

because jehovah's witnesses are considered the "happiest people on earth", you would think that jehovah's witnesses would be, as a group, happy.
very few witnesses that i know are genuinely happy.
most are either depressed or feeling that they are inadequate.

well i know i may be opening a can of worms here.... but after what we were taught in the wts about creation...and now that you may know more about evolution... which do you think you'd choose to believe more??.
myself...i am leaning towards evolution...but then i read things that make me think otherwise.
so i do find it confusing sometimes .

I actually pride myself on being a very good friend. I have a vault that could NEVER be opened (as in many secrets! you with the dirty minds!! ) I put my friends first and foremost above all, because without true friends my world would be intolerable. I would put my life on the line for all my friends...and my true friends I know would do the same for me in a heartbeat.
