I've heard of a site, where you can enter the phone number and so long as the phone is on it will tell you the location, pinpointed through the phone masts.
Anyone else heard of this?

one congregation in the 70's allowed only white shirts to be worn on the platform.
if an out of town speaker didn't know the "rule", it was ok. the brothers kept a variety of white shirts in different sizes in case that happened.
From the circuit assembly, sisters were told to shine a torch through their skirts, if legs could be seen through the skirt it was considered an immoral form of dress.

have any of you on this forum, ever met up with anyone considered famous?
i've met a great deal of people over the years.
one of my most memorable: dennis leary, drinking a few pints with him as he sang "margaritaville" from the jukebox.
My dad has sat in the driving seat of Herbie and had dinner with Christopher Reeves.
i'm sure this will not come as a shock to most of you...but clinton was an accomplished liar...problem is...bush is getting the blame for something that clearly started under clinton...and early...the recession.
wonder why this didn't get more press?.

When asked , 'who is a greatest risk to the security of the world... George W or Saddam'. More than half of those polled in the US said Saddam, but every country polled outside of the US, more than half said George this includes Britain, Australia, Canada and many European countries.
How can this man be a good president, when the majority of the world view him as a threat to world peace.

Did you know that Clinton had the highest IQ amongst all the presidents.
And guess who's got the lowest?..........you guessed it! (George W.)

Oh yes how could i forget!
I have stood next to the legendary Steve Bull (for non-brits, ex football player) in the gym showers, both of us completely stark naked.
Sorry to be crude but i had to look, here was my wolves hero...and i'm pleased to say that mine is bigger than his!

while i was in the 'truth' i and a few of my peers were curious about the effects of certain drugs.
as a teenager during the rave scene of the late 80's early 90's many of the 'worldly' kids were doing ecstasy, smoking weed and becoming heavily involved in the drugs scene.. when i left the 'truth', this curiosity got the better of me and i started smoking weed and eventually tried ecstasy, speed and lsd.. while all drugs can be abused (and i have abused some) i am of the opinion that the use of drugs can be a good experience, if used moderately.. i was wondering whether others have experienced drugs since leaving the truth, i am interested to find out what opinions people have on them good or bad.. i also wondered whether people feel that cannabis should be legalised.
my opinion is that people in power shouldn't tell me what i can and can't do with my own body.

Stinky,
The fact that you have to ask, if there is a problem generally means that there is.
I have a drink problem, I drink every day, generally three or four pints of lager after work.
As i write this, i haven't had a drink since Sunday...this is the first time i have gone three days since i was ill about a year ago. I am determined to go all week without a drink, i am going out Saturday night with some friends so i will drink then. I feel so different today, i feel alive, yesterday all i could think about was a drink, i even had shakes.
You mention you have a problem with sleep, alcohol affects the brain in such a way that you cannot have deep sleep, to help you sleep there are many remedies available from herbal shops, rather than taking medication. I have used a root in the past, i'll try to find the name for you.
Normally i don't like to share my problems on this site, but this thread touches me, especially today as i am battling so hard to stay off drink for a week, to show myself i can do it.
I have drank so much over the years, had a problem for about ten years, for those ten years i have drank just about every day. The worst time i had was about 18 months ago, my business was closing down, i was in incredible debt...to block it out, for about two months i drank between 8-12 pints of lager every day, i went out and partied on ecstasy 2-3 times a week, the ecstasy was blocking out the drunkeness, so i drank more. To bring me down from the highs i was on i smoked cannabis every day too. My life was a mess.
Although i have cut down, i still drink, but i am determined to beat it.
My heart goes out to anyone with an addiction.....Stinky you may not drink every day, so you may excuse your problem. I do not drink all day, only in evenings, thats how i excuse mine. I know i'm only kidding myself.
