Better or Worse?
It's a bit like asking who's sh*t smells the worst, yours or mine?
Answer is it doesn't really matter they both still stink of sh*t.

to be honest - i've never loved anyone - i'm talking about the romatic type here.
i have liked & been attracted to people....but love, nope.
i have no idea how to identify it.. looking at people in "so called" love today can be a bit deceptive, as what i have seen and still see to a great extent is 2 people .
Looking at people in "so called" love today can be a bit deceptive, as what I have seen and still see to a great extent is 2 people
- changing who they are to suit what the other wants
- playing mind games
- just stuck in a habit of being with someone for the sake of it
- looking to someone else to complete them
- asking a partner to prove their love by some or other action.
Now I'm not prepared to do any other the above.
Any one who acts on those ways may not be in love. The misconception many have of love in my view is that it will last forever. It does in some cases but in my experience it is possible to fall out of love too. Maybe those who act like above have fallen out of love.
When you love someone you just know it. But then you have to work on it if you want to keep it. If you don't then eventually you will fall out of love.
That's just my opinion anyway.

I do not know which part of the talk you have a problem with yourself if not all of it.
But for me what it's home is loyalty to the organisation. Witnesses are told to be loyal even though mistakes are made by the organisation. I post a thread a couple of days ago i do not know if you saw it? Fred Franz and a lawyer representing the WT society in a Scottish court are quoted as saying that unity comes before truth, even when the organisation has been found to false prophesy.
Here's the transcript Watchtower admits false prophesy in Court of Law!

there are so many reasons why i liked being a jehovahs's witness.
1. we got to count time when we share our faith with nonbelievers or our young children.
2. we didn't have to go to college to get a good job as a janitor or a window washer.
There are so many reasons why I liked being a Jehovahs's Witness.
1. We got to count time when we share our faith with nonbelievers or our young children.
2. We didn't have to go to college to get a good job as a janitor or a window washer.
3. We got to celebrate the birth of a child but not the anniversary of the birth.
4. We didn't pass a collection plate at our meetings, but we got to put in our wills that when we die that our house, CD's, jewelery, life insurance, and cash can go the the Watchtower Society so that our family didn't have to worry about those things.
5. We didn't have to be with our families during the holidays to enjoy each other company and eat the cookies, turkey, ham, pies, and other such food.
6. Because we were the only true Christians on earth, we did not have the problems that other churches have with broken up families, adultery, fornication, pedophiles, over drinking, and gossip.
7. We didn't have to worry about giving the poor and needy in our community food, clothing and shelter because we gave them the Truth which would enable them to live forever in a paradise earth.
8. We had God speaking to us thru the Faithful and Discreet Slave and thru the Watchtower.
9. We looked forward to a life in Paradise where there would be no cars, TV's, computors, radio's, theaters, washing machines, clothes dryers, refrigerators, stoves, airplanes. electric lights, or malls to buy or clothes.
10. We got to go every year to a summer District Assemly vacation at the same city every year and have a picnic at our seats during the sessions and then stay at the fine hotels that we were told to go to.
11. We knew the true meaning of the words soon, near, very soon, very near, so close, just around the corner, shortly, and near future.
12. We didn't have to worry about getting old or having a retirement plan.
Now I hope you can begin to understand why I liked being a Jehovah's Witness.

ok, so i keep reading on here how the wts was associated with the un.
i had never heard anything about this.
i guess i shouldn't be surprised, since the un is the "beast" and i know the wts would never let the congregations know they were in bed with them.
Thanks for that link, i haven't really researched much about this as my bug bear is the 607-1914 issue.
I have bookmarked it, i didn't realise the UN had posted anything like this.

today, the international crime court celebrates its tenth anniversary .
i believe it has the potential to become a powerful tool against worldwide violations of human rights .
here's an introductory article on the court's proceedings and future activities:.
I don't think we're going to be heading towards world law at all as some of the big players haven't signed up to it.
