I'm not hateful, though I will cop to being a name-caller. It wasn't a dirty name, though.
In any case you have provided exactly one citation in your history of this discussion, at least I can find only one. It was an opinion piece by Tim Ball in the CFP. I am very familiar with Dr. Ball. He is infamous as a quack and a scientific "gun for hire" in meteorological circles. He quit his job as a professor of meteorology to work for the American National Center for Public Policy Research, which is a conservative front group which will support any initiative their financial backers want them to. In other words HE IS PAID TO HAVE THAT OPINION. Later he left to work at Friends of Science, which is an oil industry front group. Currently, he's heading up Natural Resources Stewardship Project, ANOTHER oil industry front group.
In any case, all of that, while it should give you pause in quoting him just because his opinion supports your preconceived notion, doesn't matter in the fact of this:
If Dr. Ball really wanted to get the scientific world's attention, he'd do research and submit a peer-reviewed study to a scientific journal for publication. That's how it works. But that's not what Ball does. He goes around writing opinion pieces denying climate change, pieces carefully crafted to provide easily digestible soundbites to media outlets.
In any case I don't hate you, Warlock, though I do think you and people like you are harmful, dangerous doofuses. I hate your opinion, though. Twenty years from now there will be zero question on this issue, and the only people still denying it will be looked at the same way flat-earthers or Geocentrists are today. But by then it's going to be too late for a lot of species, including, maybe, mankind. -

My call is that they're going to kill off Ellis Grey (remember she is having heart surgery), and that she will meet Meredith in the "afterlife" where Meredith appears to be with Bomb Squad guy and Denny. And then Ellis will encourage her to go back, possibly even lead her back.
I think it would be AWESOME if they killed off Meredith. I wouldn't consider that jumping the shark at all. It would be a great, shocking, amazing plot twist that would reinvigorate my interest in the show.
They won't, though. Nobody, including Shonda, has that kind of balls. -

Lady Lee, notice the spelling difference between the book title and the show title? The show IS named after her, it's a clever pun.

SDA's believe the soul dies with the body. I had many conversations with them in service back in the day, and also at school, this is a confirmed belief they hold. The elder BluesBrother quotes is an ignorant fool, even by Witness standards.
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seventh-day_Adventist_Church under "Doctrine".
See also http://www.adventist.org/beliefs/fundamental/index.html, item 26.
The SDA beliefs are IDENTICAL to the Witness beliefs on this issue and on many other issues too. They share a common Adventist heritage, after all. -

The Jehovah's Witness Cult Hires Illegal Immigrants
by lisavegas420 inworking in retail management is a never ending adventure.
you never know what is lurking around the next corner.
such was the case about six months ago when my boss asked me to stay over on a sunday night to watch the store while a floor cleaning crew did a strip and wax.. now with my self being a former jehovah's witness, i already knew that a great deal of the jw's owned and operated their own floor cleaning buisnesses, and there was a good chance that the floor crew on that sunday night would more than likely be a jw operation.. when the guys first walked in, i just had a feeling that my hunch was right.

This is one of the best-kept secrets of US gringos that have "gone native" and went over to hispanic or spanish-language congregations. They get tons of cheap labor on their houses, their cars, etc...
I have an old Witness friend who, several years ago, started going to Spanish congregations. Learned the language, the whole 9 yards. He and his wife get dirt-cheap nanny and housekeeping services from live-in hispanic illegal aliens who they pay coolie wages under the table. Their lawn is mowed and yard maintained by illegals, paid under the table. They need something done on their house, same story. He says that all the white people in their congregation carry on similar practices.
I'm not making a comment on the political issue of illegal immigration here--only saying that certain Witnesses take advantage of the situation and that the practice is widespread among them. -

What's wrong with having a party to let someone know you're happy that they're alive?
And what Biblical precedent is there for forbidding a practice on such shaky grounds? Seriously, two bad guys are listed in the Bible as celebrating their birthdays, and that makes such celebrations wrong? Gimme a break. -

Warlock, you're a jackass. You're like the blind man who feels the tail of an elephant and loudly and authoritatively proclaims, "an elephant must be like a rope!"
I'm not going to cite you ANYTHING, like the other kind posters here have done. Because I know you won't read it. The last time you came and posted this kind of crap everyone linked you to studies by reputable climatologists, people with doctorates who have gone to school for a decade to learn how this stuff works, and you still came back on here and spewed this kind of garbage.
Why do you care if climate change is real or not? Why do you feel the need to debunk it? What is the psychological reason behind this kind of behavior? That's what I'd like to know. Are you worried about your pocketbook? Are you afraid, and denying the possibility because you can't face its stark reality? Please, do tell.
In any case, you can take this advice or leave it, but I'd recommend fixing your ignorance so that you can at least speak about this with a shred of credibility (hint: use Google). One of two things will happen: you'll figure out what all of this research proving man-made climate change is missing, what not one single peer-reviewed study in the history of climatology, NOT ONE, has ever managed to disprove, or you'll come to believe it yourself, and then you can help fix it. Either way you can't lose.
Or you can keep your head buried in the sand.
