  warwick experience, sounds like propaganda?

  recieved this email a few days ago, it reads like a typical jw chain email that gets forwarded around.

  but it almost sounds like something the writing dept would start circulating as fiction propaganda...... .

  I told my wife that she was in a cult...

  ...it is not the first time i did this but from time to time when i get frustrated i tend to say things i later regret, like this.. she went to the meeting this past sunday and apparently she heard a talk about watching her associations.

  she told me that she was glad to have that talk because the message was timely for her.

  you see, the saturday night prior she and my kids were at her sisters house and her sister and friends suggested that she hang out with them sometime.

  many of you will be interested to know that irwin zalkin now has 11 lawsuits against watchtower at various stages.. these can be summarized as follows.... j.l.

  BOTR, I respect you, your posts and your insight, but I agree with the others, that statement was completely uncalled for and in poor taste. I'd say it boils down to seeing some kind of karma coming back to pay the WT for it's nasty polices about covering things up.

  she is definitely seeing the bs, and i even overheard her talking openly about it to a family member.

  SOP mentioned the numbers, and said "fulltime" would require 3 years of work. That's working a fulltime job, NOT "full time servus"

  It took 6,505 hours to make one convert last year.

  The average JW would take about 54 YEARS to make one convert, at 10 hrs a month in the field circus.

  The average Pioneer would take almost 8 YEARS to make one convert, at 70 hrs a month in the field circus.

  The average low hour publisher at 5/hrs a month, would take 108 YEARS to make one convert.

  ah, my guilty pleasure, coast to coast am had this guy on last night who recently took trips to countries to further understand voodoo.

  i'm transcribing his exact words here below, where he's talking about how voodoo has integrated with other religions in cluding christianty(easily mixes with voodoo), to islam(not mixes so well).

  i recently found out several old friends have left and been on their own so to say.

  it gave me an idea to check up as best as i can on my old friends because we all know many are alone when they first get out.

  if you find any, you'll also have a special connection of having gone through the same thing, etc.
