Can anyone update me on the reasons why the Chelmsford project is a 'debacle'?
What's happened?
yesterday my wife and i enjoyed one of our regular days out at edinburgh - movie, lunch, walk, meal etc.. in the late afternoon while mrs cofty went shopping i had an hour at the excellent museum of scotland and arranged to meet up outside the national gallery on princes street.
on my way back i saw the jw trolley was at the usual spot on the royal mile.
there was an older man and a young woman standing well back trying hard to look inconspicuous.

A really good discussion cofty
I was in the west end of Edinburgh on Saturday and saw the carts at the corner of Princes Street.
I would like to engage witnesses but many would still recognise me from ten years ago and it would cloud their view of the discussion.
I have to say that they look about the most depressed people alive.
Imagine standing on the streets of one of the greatest cities in the world, looking like you need about fifty packets of citilopram shoved down your throat.
Go out and enjoy yourselves.
Smile ffs.
many weeks ago, i apparently put "m" on today's date- wednesday, march 23rd, in my google calendar.
it was supposed to remind me that the memorial that jehovah's witnesses observe would be held today.
i was flipping through my calendar this past weekend and asked my wife "what in the world is 'm' for (that day)?
looking at him on these jw org videos.
his suits look so bad.
can't he afford a tailor?
the rise and rise of paul gillies?.
here are a view details about the 57-year-old paul stuart gillies.. .
2011: appointed as a director of international bible students association (ibsa) on 2 november having resigned as a director of watch tower bible and tract society of britain on the same day.
Just for the record, I always found his brother Gordon to be a proper company man too.
An arsehole, for want of a better expression
all warm and fluffy this month after the utterly laughable 'bread' broadcast.
.
i'll always be grateful to the australian royal commission for allowing us to see this duplicitous, lying, creep, shown up as a snivelling, suck up, asshole, taken completely out of his self appointed authoritarian comfort zone.. anyway, a not too interesting broadcast i have to say..

l thought it might be a good idea to have a quick reference post to remind people of the faults within the jw org.what do others think.
?
Because as a parent, there is never a reason to shun your child. Yet, they have normalised it and even painted it as 'loving'.
Absolute arseholes.
Getting crazier with each passing day.
i talked to my dad today, after i text him when i was angry after a night out.
i'm starting to get closure on my parents relationship with regards to me.the dynamic between them versus me is abusive.
my dad didn't think i had any reason to be bitter.he said i chose to leave "jehovahs people" and this is what i should expect as treatment.
Tell your dad that around 99.9% of parents the world over would rather saw off a limb than shin their children.
No matter how you word it, your dad is displaying a 'love' that isn't true parental love. His mind is so far removed from reality that he actually believes that it's the right thing to do when the entire rest of humanity thinks it abusive, barbaric and belonging to the Middle Ages.
I've often wondered how people put this situation to others who aren't witnesses. If I knew someone who carried out shunning toward their child I'd lose all respect for them.
Strange, strange behaviour.
god forbid you would talk about the dead person at his funeral.
so what do most people get after living 70-80 years?.
a 5-10 minutes eulogy.
Truly the worst funerals I've ever been to.
Borderline offensive and completely without feeling.
I go to hear the person eulogised, not to hear about their beliefs or those of others.
Appalling.
