Mail her "Crisis of Conscience" as a wedding gift.

Better yet, get her a subscription to Playgirl from an ex-boyfriend, that ought to fire things up with her new hubby.
i'm feeling rejected and hurt because i've just been informed that i am not invited to my little sisters wedding.
first, here's a little background story on my relationship with her: she and i are three years apart.
when we were younger we were very close (i was in the "truth" back then).

i have a theory on why people become jw's.
there are 3 different reasons:.
1: you were born into a family of jw's.
I was born in (Borne Supremecy?) to a couple of Nuts who had/have a lifelong Crisis...that being...mom's a nut (actually enough nuts for about ten people) and dad's a passivist to the nut, which makes him a nut or nuts.
my wife and i split from the witnesses about 2 years now....and now she says we need a divorce asap!
she doesn't want to work thru it.
lately and for awhile she has been amazingly aggressive to me.....and pretty much everyone else she knows.
I have never been divorced (married for 23 years) but I can tell you from esperience, that lifes routes are always a stepping stone to something better. I don't know how, but try to find the positives in your and focus on them rather than the negatives.
I haven't walked a mile in your shoes so I can't be of help in this regard. But...I can tell you that life will go on, you'll learn from this, and somehow, you'll be happier in time.
i blame it on the summer heat.
it was a spur of the moment thing.
years to obtain, i lost in a few minutes.
Oh...see there....talk about jumping the gun, you already gave the answer....and so quickly too!!

You let the sun tea set out tooo long and now it's too strong to drink?
why not have them die that day as sinners as promised.. no kids, end of story.
.
Moo, so....you're suggesting best two out of three? I don't think anyone here is giving Jehovah the benefit of his wisdom.
while this may be construed as a rebuttal to nvr's thread re: why i post about atheism, that is not my intent.. it is my intent, however, to show how i developed a belief in and love for the god of the bible.. my paternal grandfather, who died before i was born, was a baptist preacher, so you could say i cut my teeth on the bible.
i loved having it read to me, and once i learned how, reading it for myself.
i'm convinced that spirituality runs deep in my blood.. i've always had such a strong sense of right and wrong that injustices make me literally sick.
Quandry, the only reason those without faith in God try to beat those with faith in God down, is because they have nothing to look forward to, except death. They have no hope. It's the same reason a thug steals from convenience store, they've got nothing, so they take it from others. Robbing you of your your faith makes them feel justified, better. As in, "You're not getting something better than me, because I took it from you."
Just remember, the scriptures warned in advance of these kinds of people. When you get confused, just look around you, evidence of Jehovah is all around you.
1 in 8 high school teachers in usa teach creationism and id as valid science.. 16% of teachers beliece humans were created less than 10,000 years ago.
Question: What would it take for an Evolutionist to believe in Creation? What "Proof" would it take? And don't answer with the question; What would it take for a Creationist to believe in Evolution?
Just curious if Evolutionists know the answers to their own questions.

Snowbird! I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to hear that there are those that feel the way you do about the scriptures. I was beginning to think I was the only one! I have loved the Bible and it's author (Jehovah to some of us) from a very young age as well. It was if Jehovah was speaking to me, instructing me, like a son. I was (still am) one of those that took the path less traveled. I knew from an early age, that I wanted to please Jehovah as best I could.
I too love the God of the Bible. Thanks for your post.
