  i am being called an apostate by some at the kingdumhell ,what should i do

  when i bump into the people who are calling me that name i would like to say something about what apostate actually means but im not very articulate (you may have noticed) one lady has said she will be polite to me but nothing else , im not even an ex dub just an ex study so do i actually qualify for that title in the "land of makebelieve"?

  i know that jws think they invented the word apostate !

  the more sarcastic ,the better ?

  leaving the society was scary at first but i had to make myself grin and bear it.

  i have renewed my relationship with christ and i am looking foward to his wonderful blessings in my future.

  now that i am finally worshipping him in spirit and truth and i have the hope of going to heaven someday.

  I found Jesus while in the WT, but more importantly, I found the love of the Father, the creator of all things, Jehovah God. He has become as a great a friend to me as anyone could ask for in a friend, never letting me down. It's like going to that fountain, and you just keep getting more and more to drink, you're never thirsty. It's been amazing, my whole life, as far back as I can rememer as a little kid, I've always admired Jehovah and His son.

  I prayed to Jehovah the day before yesterday about financial things in my life, the next morning I was showered with more than I can handle at one time. Does God, Jehovah exist? Most definately!

  I've had many experiences where I prayed to God for answers and I got them! Most people would say (even my long time JW parents) that Jehovah doesn't answer prayers about finances and such, I say, you haven't walked a mile in my shoes and witnessed what Jehovah has done for me when I prayed to Him for help.

  OK, naysayers, fire away!

  when i was almost seven, we moved from the gulf coast town of mobile, alabama to morgan city, louisiana.

  on brashear avenue, which was also highway 90, the gulf coast hwy, going towards the now old atchafalaya bridge, there was a shrimp boat in the middle of the road called the spirit of morgan city.

  at christmas time they decorated it with a santa on the front and his reindeer out front, as if it were santa's mode of transportation through cajun country, rather than his regular sleigh.

  i have a few questions regarding this property (woodland hills assembly hall, woodland hills ca).. 1. rumor had it that bob hope built the building but there was insufficient parking to allow for 'worldly' concerts.

  true or false??.

  Wow! We went there for years when I was a kid. I was baptized there. When I was a kid, I always thought it would be fun to climb that building, it looked so easy because it was dome shaped. I had heard the same thing too, that Bob Hope had owned it before the Society bought it. Funny,...most of my childhood memories of assemblies seem to gravitate to that place. Working at the food counters, giving parts on the assemblies, etc...

  Well, they must have razed it. Gone for good.....
