  fading and not "outing" yourself.. what are your thoughts on it?.

  i ask, because i just received a scathing personal message on facebook from a person who read my latest book and in it i describe myself as a fader.

  i was not dfd and i did not da myself.

  tried to show my family a little and they blasted me. I told my uncle if you had no religion and knowledge of it to begin with , and a bible just fell out of the sky, and you read it in all its original languages, you would see zero harmony and tons of contradiction that men have massaged for out for thousands of years. Sorry witnesses, YHWH and Jesus just don't pan out.

  So many things about this YHWH make no sense, you are all powerful, all awesome, and still you have to engage in a wager over this persons loyalty. If YHWH is real we are like less than nothing to him, I loving father would never wager with someone he considers his children, even in a temporary situation.

  I believe they are trying to misrepresent it to fit as you say, but the whole story in general is bad. The bible criticizes itself best!

  Doesn't YHWH undermine his own supremacy by gambling with his biggest adversary? Lowering himself to this? Its all nonsense.

  You may have pointed out something very interesting here though.

  So last night grabbing the books before going to the beeting I checked and in fact I have one of each. The "schlong" book and the one with the Asian fellow. Pretty stinking funny. I don't think they intentionally painted it like that, but it happened that way and our brains look for familiar patterns everywhere. Or maybe it was done by one of TM3's bright socked tight pants minions in bethel as their own little jab at the mighty org who forces them to deny who they are.

  What would happen if life was found elsewhere?

  see jws have said time and again jesus died once for all time... a quote from hebrews.

  okay rule out humn-like aliens what about animals plants and microbes... i once had a hot fight with an elder when i still believed that here was no reason to doubt alien animals etc.

  yet not based on any wt article witnesses reject this often.. lets suppose say in a month microbes are found on ceres (i doubt it will happen but let's roll with it) they are living as much as our cells are and reporduce... okay what would mother say in the magazines when millions of jehovah's witnesses demand to know why jehovah created microbes on a dwarf planet?.

  Less of an "if" and more of a "when" I believe they will right it off if its not intelligent life as meaningless, and if it is intelligent life they would say they are "demons" lol

  How do you respond to JW family?

  for those who have left and are still in contact with jw family, how do you usually respond when they bring up jw stuff, i.e.

  start talking about the nearness of armageddon or things like that.. i usually say nothing and just let it pass but i'm considering changing tact to something more confrontational, less because i want to change their mind and more because i find it tiresome.

  I have sat through so many crazy conversations. Just this weekend I had some Uber dubs staying with me, two are bethelites, they started discussing the lovely rape, dismemberment concubine story. Also god saying yes go and then twice losing. And tens of thousands dying doing what God said to do. I just looked down and kept silent. even at one point with all there justifying the one still said "who can know jehovah" barf. The witness wat of saying god works in mysterious ways ie this makes no sense.
