hey non_trias_theos, protector of all that's holy, please explain why the watchtower 'slept' with the 'wild beast' united nations for almost ten years and continues to lie about it even now.. watchtower is lying about u.n. involvement.

"our purpose for registering with the department of public information as a nongovernmental organization (ngo) in 1991 was to have access to research material available on health, ecological, and social problems at the united nations library facilities.

we had been using the library for many-years prior to 1991, but in that year it became necessary to register as an ngo to have continued access.

How you doing Happy Man? Thought I'd give you a helping hand and re-post your message. I bet you speak english, better then I speak Swedish. The message is a bit difficult for some to understand, so I arranged it to help out those people.

I think they {are} doing this because they want help from {the} UN, to protect JW in countries where we are badly treated. When I see the new video about JW Russia, it {has} several experts who {were} testifying, even from {the} UN.
{Is it} wrong to use all available power to protect JW in countries {where} we are very badly treated? Now {here} is my answer, even if you see hypocrite in this, I think the purpose to protect our brothers and sisters is more important.
So for me, and I think several other who {are} JW, this is not so big thing, theocratic warfare if you want, with a good purpose.
But I don’t like that they don’t tell how it is, {that} is worse.
And like some here say, perhaps Bowen is cleaning the temple.
I think this abuse thing is far worse.

I just want to point out something with the rest of this board, be that you are JW or X-JW. This person is not a JW and most likely an X-JW, or a child whom is not baptized in the WTBTS(child of a JW). This person is someone who is familar with this board, has posted here before, and has taken another screen name. This person is not a "newbie". This person is also not an adult, and most likely a person in their late teens.

Pretty much, if this person is doing some kind of experiment, making a point, or just playing a game to blow off some steam...it's very childish. But the pattern in language and use of language is always the same. NOT similar. The SAME. This is a persistant pattern of language, it would of varied should it been someone else. This person is a waste of time.

And for their boast in intellect? BWAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHA!

My post was not a general accusation. I used the word "sometimes" to qualify my statements.

Your "sometimes" does not qualify your statement. If you had said SOME Peeps...then you have an argument.

I think you need help, friend. And I mean that sincerely. Witneses are peaceable freedom who just want the freedom to practice their religion the way that the Bible directs. We try to be peaceable with everyone, as far as it depends on us.

I am sure that people say a lot of things on the internet that they would not say to someone's face. Doing so might get one shot these days. There are even some jws who carry guns and tell me they "ain't going out like that" if someone attacks them. A little bit of advice from non.

Where is it implied or direct in my statement; of any method or use of physical violence? If that's what you percieve it to be, then you've percieved wrong.

And look you little "I think I'm a JW-gangsta", guns don't scare me. I wouldn't "attack" anyone unless they've provoked me or someone (unable to defend themselves) with violence.

Your claim to your great intellect needs a check. That claim concludes you got nothing more then shit between your ears with your response to my post.

I'll put it in basic and brief:

I was born in to the WTBTS.
Baptized at 13. DF 16 and called an "apostate" for my views of dissent. Re-instated at 23 soley for the purpose to have an open channel of communication with my family. In other words, to have "technical" reason from MY family point of view, that they can communicate with me without applied status from WTBTS point of view.

WTBTS believes it has a right to express it's point of view with MY family. Fair enough, I'm for that. My family can hear what they want, no big deal. Now, the WTBTS believes that any view counter to it's belief is that "of the world", "influenced by satan and his demons", or in my case one who holds an "apostate" point of view. Therefore, should I express my point of view with MY family, WTBTS impedes that. Now, should my family listen to me, they will be ostracized by elders and congregation for doing so. WTBTS believes that no one can impede their message, but feel free to impedes my message, when it comes to MY family.

I dont give a shit about the rest of the WTBTS flock. You or anyone else. I dont give a shit about argument of doctrine or theology. What I do have a RIGHT to, is to communicate without any form of duress from ANYONE in this world with MY family.

Does the WTBTS cross that line? Yes. Have they crossed that line? Yes.

Now, there was a situation where I found a compromise with the WTBTS on the matter of MY family. That compromise has been abandoned by the WTBTS. Therefore, if the WTBTS feels that it can impede on MY RIGHT to communicate with MY FAMILY...then I find that I can impede on their RIGHT to communicate with whomever.

Now, I deem my situation with my baptism (which was under pressure) to be unique. No 13 year old has the intellectual capacity to make an informed decision when joining an organization such as the WTBTS. Nor did any MS, Elder, CO, DO, or governing body member, in any way, counsel me at the age of 13 to "reconsider" nor put an effort to "prohibit" my baptism. Therefore, I view my "baptism" with the WTBTS null and void.

So, to simply state...if they want to fuck with MY family situation, then they should accept accountability for impeding on MY family situation. It's my perogative to dictate how to handle that situation. Anyone who believes that my actions should take another course is their OPINION.

Let me give you a reality check Non_trias, jehovah god is YOUR god...not mine. When you ask a LEADING question such as;

And within the arrogance of your posts, I see that you are standing up with WTBTS in support of their fucking with my family. So, if you feel to share accountability, expect a harsh reaction from my (and/or others) side.

This post you've made, is a general accusation. There are many people here, with many different stories. When you step on toes with your general accusations, expect to be treated with a negative reaction. But of course, you should know this, since you've boasted your great intellect

Let me give you a piece of advice, which is up to you to heed, but before making general accusations ask yourself this; Would I be willing to ask and say these things to someone's face, much less on a message board?

Dissociated family excluded from funeral services

apparently, disassociated relatives are not allowed to be in the procession lines at kingdom hall services.

they can attend but they cannot be with their relatives to receive condolenses.

this happened recently to someone whose aunt had passed away.

My nephew is a big Star Trek fan, I'm not. I've seen some of the movies...errr, actually just two. So my nephew brought over a movie a few days ago to share called Star Trek: First Contact. Yep, the one with the "borg" in it.

I can agree that no where, implied or direct, have I personally found the WTBTS say that they are "infallible".

Now, I'm sorry...we can say "Oh doh! Gee, the WTBTS never really USES the ACTUAL word INSPIRED". Of course they don't. But what we have here, is yes they do call themselves Prophets. Now I'm going to save your argument Cygnus that you will use with definition here. Your OPINION will dictate to yourself what is defined. Reborn's OPINION will dictate to his self what is defined. Your conclusion to your OPINION, does not minimize nor extinguishes the argument of OPINION from Reborn. There is the argument that yes, the WTBTS does state they are "inspired", but not directly.

This is a "point of view" issue, where the facts can go either way.

Reborn, I was where you are several years ago. I thought that I was really a tough guy by taking on the big bad monster that is the Watchtower Society. I had the WT CD-ROM and I did the same thing you are doing with it. I could probably recite those articles you are cutting and pasting by memory. The fact is the Watchtower has made huge blunders in the past, and certain statements and mindsets have given very many elders license in their minds to commit some great atrocities.

And again, yes yes yes, JW policies are not 100% in EVERY ASPECT. But there are ASPECTS that Reborn has found to be wrong. Now, since what you entitle to be "wrong" and what "he" entitles to be wrong split off in two different directions...does not lead to a conclusion of right or wrong in opinions. Both of you are right, within your arguments.

Why am I making this post? There's a point on argument where people knock down an opinion, due to their point of view. There's no "right" or "wrong" about it. We can contest our opinions openly, and disagree. But what bothers me, Cygnus, is in your last post of your argument closed rather arrogantly. In the sense that Reborn's argument didn't hold any weight, that you stated a "fact" when it was a matter of opinion.

From the moment I read your reply to my post, I KNEW where you were coming from. Heck, way before I even started posting on the jehovah-witness forum, I was a frequent lurker of your web page. So no worries.

Apparently, some people didn't "get" the gist of your post and my reply to it, and I got a few e-mails stating that I was "full of anger and rage" and "you are just an angry little man". Well, the people who e-mailed this, did the "one shot number". When I replied to their e-mails, lo-and-behold their e-mail address didn't exist.(boy, now I wonder who THAT could of been?) Probably blocked, or a temp e-addy. Also, a few people in the chat were a bit dense on the post, and were confused. So, in order to stop the e-mails and questions in chat, I posted the topic. Hence my "disclaimer" in this post: http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.asp?id=27923&site=3&page=2.

So no worries. In the "live and let live" post, I should of included something to the effect of "Tallyman, this isn't for you but for the trolls who are e-mailing me". That was my bad, for lack of clarity of whom I was posting for. Sorry 'bout that.
