  it's really good to read stories of other people that have experienced some of the same things i have.

  i haven't ever posted or even talked to another ex-jw except for my uncle who i have just recently started a relationship with.

  the sad thing is that i am 30 years old and i am still struggling with the past....i'm soo sick of it.

  I always hated it. I used to try to get in with the car group doing return visits so I wouldn't have to go to the doors.

  Loved the donut shop too. BREAK TIME.

  i just got a call from the social security office.

  now......these people sent me a letter of denial of ssi even before their doctors examined me a coupla weeks ago, so i couldn't imagine why they would be calling me.

  at first i thought she was telling me that they'd mistakenly sent out the denial letter to me, but that wasn't it.

  today i just realize that im almost completly cured of the jehobism !

  sure i have not recovered all of my friends but im making new ones.

  i no longer fear armageddon or whatever thing of the wtbt$.

  i'm the type that rathers not answer the door, when an elder will come over, to try to bring me back on the road of eternal life.

  how about you, do you rather answer the door to them, or just avoid opening the door, when you know it's them?

  I've been waiting for what seems like an eternity. Well over a year now. They know a lot about what I've been doing ( thanks to the wife ) but still no visits or calls. I think its my attitude. They know it might get ugly, and I personally think they are afraid to confront me. So much for sheperding calls. I, like some that have posted on this thread would love to get into it with them. I have questions galore for them. The one that nobody to date has answered me is about the Mexican scam. They just clam up and walk away. My own sister who when I told her about it went into denial. She hasn't talked to me since.

  There is now a brother from Bethel, that is at bethel, in the group, Maybe a brother in the direct light of our father can shed some light on this subject.

  no shock value here - they just mentioned that many bethelites have already received their new assignment.

  also, that some got assigned to special pioneering (have fun guys!!!

  ) one said that ralph walls gave a talk to the brothers to remain focused on their work.
