  i have been so busy the last few months that i hardly have time to play on my pc.

  Glad to see ya again AuldSoul. Hope everything goes well for the trucker. Boy I can relate to that since that is what I do for a living as well. Will be looking forward to your post about birthdays. Col 2:16 is a good scripture I always use for that. Have a great trip.

  is the watch tower name going away?

  i'm seeing more use of the "jehovah's witnesses" name where the watch tower name once was such as the sponsors of the summer conventions.

  is this new, or am i just noticing it?

  Gary, as an over the road trucker I have made some deliveries to Walkill NY. I have noticed that on their tractor trailers where once it said "Watchtower" it now says "Kingdom Services". I think this is part of their separating of the companies in case of law suits.

  i received an email from a lawyer who has been studying with witnesses for some time.

  he wanted to know my story, if i am disfellowshipped and if i have an axe to grind, in order to know if the information at jwfacts.com can be trusted.

  i was raised a jw, my aunty and uncle, many cousins and grandparents are jws.

  New Light Coming?

  hi - i have jw friends (really!

  ) and have gone to kh for some talks and study every couple of weeks.

  things like the new watchtower policy, selling buildings (i am from nyc and know the heights well - that will make a boatload of money), the sex abuse settlements, drop in membership and donations, and some of the changes i have seen in the magazine (the annointed qfr, for example).

  I think with all the $$$ they are dishing out because of all the lawsuits, soon they will have an announcement that all publishers will have to donate X amount of money per month to cover "World wide work". We all know where this money really goes. Maybe they will put a spin on tithing. You never know.

  Its sad really. Since the WTS has changed the "Generation" thing, the end of the world could be way way into the future now. So there is no need to preach to people now, just put in TIME so the elders won't take them into the back room for a reaming session.
