  Facing JW-philosophy demons

  i am now really starting to suffer emotionally and i .

  think psychologically too.

  Emyrose-I don't know what happened to my reply I usally
  mess up and it ends up posting twice this time nothing.
  So just short and sweet you need to get help now! I too
  have been close way too close it gets way too scary.
  So before you get to the point where every breath [every one]
  hurts and takes incredible energy to take, please get help.
  I usally have a song reference in my posts.So here it is
  "You've got a Friend" and it seems like many more than
  just me. Call on us will be there put you must -must get to a Dr. and get on something ASAP.

  i found this old favorite song of mine.

  take it for what it's worth.

  a day-brightener, yes, a cure-all, no.. this beautiful song was used as background music in one of charlie chaplin's silent pictures over 70 years ago, which i believe was called "modern times".

  what where you looking for from the JWS

  i cant say i sought the jws out.

  i had little choice , as my parents did the seeking, i hold them harmless, they did not investigate it beyond the wtbts pubs.. i did however at a point go it on my own, did the water dipping ore 1985 , so i feel, no allegiance to a group i vowed nothing to.. there was a point maybe 2 or 3 months when i felt i had a realtionship with god during my stint with the jws.

  unfortuanately for me i lumped , god and them together and dismissed both together for a long time.. my question though to all here is this.

  Steve you must have hit a nerve;battman thought it was a
  good question so do I. Of course my answer ditto's yours.
  Come on people was everyone out there forced fed this
  crap from there parents.Question to the elder statesman
  of our clan today.Hey when is the last time someone came
  into the"darkness" by the preaching work? You know the door
  to door magazine stuff. Like the way you came in.Didn't have
  a clue-a long-long time. He said he recently asked the ONLY pioneer at his hall how mant studies she had? Anybody -
  I'll give you a hint it ends in 0; yes it starts with it too.
  The elder that takes him and the mrs, to the meetings
  starts a new study every week they last for two.
  So I know a lot of us here were faithful kids obeying our
  parents and thats why we are now here because we have
  not bought what are parents did. But what of the rest come
  on. Answer something. People ask me why I'm here in
  AZ. I don't have a freaking clue. My answer to the question
  though is always the same. My sister did a great sales job
  and we came to visit in feburary[I'm polish its the stake-
  cross I must carry]. Can we get at least one person to
  the bar now serving-Jack and Coke-Captain and Coke
  Coors-lite the bill is on us.

  Emyrose-what a great-great name-have to file that one away
  just in case the Lord should bless me with a little girl
  someday. Please never-never-never-say that you won't
  get over something you will. It won't happen all at once
  just a little at a time. Never is too negative a word the way
  you are using it.I heard a line the other day."Fear is a dark
  room where the negatives are developed". Make sure those
  negatives get over exposed come into the light.
  Suggestion pray for HIS spirit to be with you-turn to 1John
  and just read. It worked for me. Praise the Lord

  Things to do when they come knocking

  i encourage people not to either verbally or physically harass jws when they come knocking on the door.. saying this, i recognize that it is ever so tempting to try the following:.

  1) answering the door wearing a t-shirt with a logo such as "satan rules", "member of the evil slave class", and "1914, 1918, 1925, 1975, what's next?".

  2) answering the door wearing only underwear (or less).. 3) dropping a name of some governing body member and suggesting that you got to know him when he and you were in jail together, and then ask if they know if he's stopped some particular filthy habit.. 4) answering the door while brandishing a pitchfork.. 5) say that you're so glad they came and that it's good for people to have an open mind about their religion and to be willing to change; once you get them excited with this, show them a copy of the wtbts failed prophecy list (backed by quotes from their own literature) and ask if they are open minded as well.. 6) as most jws have never looked at a copy of _studies in the scriptures_, tell them that you've gotten many of your religious beliefs by pyramidology; then show them a copy of _sits_ and point to the wtbts copyright notice.. i have #5 and #6 ready for the next visit.

  Seven-yes what a great song. I took my boys one day to
  see'Finding Forrester' my oldest wants to be a writer.
  At the end of the movie oh what a song. I stopped dead in
  my tracks when I heard it. As the credits rolled and my little one
  buggin' to go I stood and listened surrounded by Peace and
  Tranquility.The song-Over the Rainbow/What a wonderful
  world by Israel Kamakawio'ole. It is on the movies sound
  track . You will love it.
  About Eva what a voice- my dearset brother turned me on to
  her. But Steve the best version of "Fields of Gold" is Her
  studio version off "Songbird". Seven enjoy the day listen
  to the tunes.

  to all those who hear the knock
  tell him to go else where to find his flock
  To all those who let him in he offers happiness and gladness
  only to leave them with much emptiness and sadness
  To all those who rejoice in knowing the hour
  to them the message turns quite sour
  Beware of the man

  he pledges his allegiance to it
  to the bible and tract society which publishes it
  to the governing body who suposedly writes it

  well friends it came tonight at the thursday meeting, a new video "no blood medicine meets the challenge".

  it has prepared case histories and testimony of several in the medical field show that no blood is good medicine.

  it is to be distributed to newly interested ones and to those in the medical profession it has been especially prepared for the non-witness viewing public.

  I have a suggestion but it is not about blood.
  Is there enough of us out there willing to picket a major
  assembly for the societies no tell policy on
  child molesters. I'm game, Fred take my name down
  reportback to the stooges this policy must stop NOW!!!
  How many more kids need to suffer because of this?
  One more would be too many for me.
  Love and Peace to All-and to all think about those kids
  one of them one day might be yours.
