A Plea For Responsible Reporting

many hundreds of people read this site who are not subscribed, and i would suspect that the vast majority are jw's looking for answers to an internal turmoil that they may be living with.. the information posted on this board does get read and then passed among many congregations of jw's.

this information is a powerful force and is a wonderful thing for those who are seeking to be informed, and a not so wonderful thing to those in brooklyn who are seeking to harness the boundaries of knowledge.. given this scenario, and how much credibility can be lost by xjw's who perpetuate gossip and innuendo, can we check our sources and facts very carefully before we post information to this board.

there is no particular nobility in being first with news about some aspect of wts life.

they don't make very good friends!...... and if you do business with one, ummmm..... you might get burned!,,,,,, and if you go to one for advice, ummm......you might be in big trouble,..... and if one of them babysits for you, you might really be in trouble...

they know all the gov progams to get free money!!!!....... but if you ask one of them to help the gov.... ummmm, they can't!

they are sooo decent when they go door to door, but ummmm, it might be a pedophile,...

yes, they are just reflecting their leaders thinking...
personally, i have about a hundred horror storys about jws,.... i'm sure you would call it "mud slinging".

so, now your side step is......to say you "support" the child abuse issue?... meanwhile you make suttle statements to tear down bill bowen and silent lambs, the organization causing the gov body's reforms....... and you want everyone to just let it roll of their backs, like you.

if you really supported the child abuse issue that bill bowen is supporting, you wouln't be supportive of the gov body's policys.

what does that have to do with silent lambs nailing the gov body, in behalf of children that are being molested?

that was an exellent side step, change the issue, take the focus off children being molested by the POLICYS OF THE GOV BODY.......

INSTEAD YOU WANT EVERYONE TO FOCUS ON LEAVING THE GOV BODY ALONE.

any "changes in policy" by the gov body on the issue of child molestation, are comming about by the effort of "silent lambs", and sites like this one.

Circuit Overseers and Corruption

as an ex presiding overseer and public affairs spokesperson who is now disfellowshipped!!!

i am new to this site and have read with keen interest the many and varied topics that have been posted.

during my 9 years of presiding i encountered certain corrupt c/os for example the friends would treat them like little demy gods, hanging onto their every word, they would, on their visit influence the brothers to part with cash for privledges.

the ones who are not corrupt, get fed up, and leave the cult.

hi matrix...... you sound like a jw bs artist...... are you a gov body member?.... you have nothing in writing?????

i hope elders do ivite everyone to discuss grievances on this issue with them in private........ LETS GET THE BALL ROLLING, AND GET THE HUSH HUSH GOING, AND THE DISFELLOWSHIPPING FOR APOSTACY GOING.

the longer you wait before you disfellowship those questioning the gov body, the more members you are going to loose.

i can't wait to see how many get disfellowshipped for coming forward with questions....

BoE letters are useless and a red herring

just a thought,.

why is that the society shout about their boe letters as though they prove right motives and attitude from the gb.. surely due to the fact that 99% of these letters are only read to the elders in their secret meetings the really important information is not available to the r&f witness.. this means that someone trying to work out how to approach the subject of being molested in the past and what to do about it will in those early crucial stages of any decision only have recourse to the information in the "open" publications.. they will "do research" as the loyal dub is encouraged to do and wont find anything to give them support and help.. would the elders give them access to the boe files?

we all know the answer to that.. this is another example of the double dealing of the org from the top down, especially as all jw's are judged by the elders according to the content of these secret letters.

i suspect they are going to print their policy about child molestation, eventually in the mag, to get out of a bind,/////// and when the rank and file start using the information, and call the police, the elders will have to be a little more careful on how they disfellowship them,.......but there will be a big amount of victims and whistle blowers disfellowshipped for apostacy........till everyone gets the idea....... only apostates call the police!
sick disgusting apostates, who want to bring reproach on the organization, and accuse it's innocent members of abuse.

they are usually not happily married, and sex starved.
when they go to a commitee meeting where a beautiful young girl is accusing a brother of "rape"........ they get carried away, cause they get a hard on, ........ then they sorta keep questioning the victim, you know,... to make sure they get every single detail that happened...
